You should compare the Ottomatic to the Bonavita but use the Chemex with the Bonavita and see how they compare. The Bonavita might be a more cost-effective alternative that can also brew into a thermal carafe. I have seen a lot of people use the 6 cup Chemex under the Bonavitas before.
comparing the two machines which one would you suggest you said one machine has heating option to keep the coffee warm for longer time other than this option is there any difference between the two machines which machine do you think would last longer
You never mention the temperature of the coffee between the two. At this point you probably don't remember if one produced a hotter coffee over the other?
Hello and yes I would like you too compare two coffee combo espresso machines one is The BCO 430 and the other one is Combi BCO 330T and yes they're both DeLonghi please please please I would really like to see these two machines compared and which one is better and which one is not test them and show them please
A manual Chemex is reccomended to complete it's brew within 4-5 minutes but the auto takes 7 minutes? That has to give a really different flavor profile then when manually brewing with one. How about a blind taste test of a manual brewed Chemex vs the auto. I assume the auto's purpose is to give you the same great brew as the manual process without the hands on work. At least at $300 I would hope that is what it is trying to achieve.
+Ninjaembryo It depends where you put the value. The Chemex has a heat plate and is much smaller. The Ratio has no plastic components and is assembled in Oregon. Both produce a great cup of coffee. :D
Another great video by Gail! You always provide such good information and instruction that are so helpful! Thanks, Gail!

RyNo I would also like to see this.
instaBlaster.
I think you should compare the ottomatic with manuel pour over on chemex. It will be good to know if they are different from each other.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Hi, wonder if you are interested in the new Hario Smart7 Auto Pour Over, like to see a review and a comparison to these. Thanks~

Fun comparison, great review.
+Orrin Belcher Thanks for watching all our videos!
At 40 oz (1182ml) and 50 grams of coffee is a 23:1 ratio. Seems a little light, most seem to recommend a 17:1 ratio.
Did I time travel? I watched this earlier this week

Can you compare the Ottomatic, Bonavita and the OXO Barista Brains all together? They are all fairly new, and are all about the time price point.
+RyNo Thanks for the suggestion! On it!

+EricandMelissa33 That time frame includes the water heating up.
+RyNo Correct!
Chemex Ottomatic vs Ratio Eight? Is the Ratio Eight 250 dollars better?
