Today we are making Ariels town dress from The Little Mermaid animated movie to go see the live action! I was so exited to be sewing such a classic outfit for MerMay and even more exited that we got a decent live action that I felt adapted the story perfectly!

Yes, to more batch sewing, and of course, you diffently need a pirate version of this outfit. OMG , the revel to this was fabulous, just so gorgeous. I loved it.
I think pirate Ariel is now definitely going to happen lol and in planing on batch sewing a bunch next week so will get filming!

I’ve finally seen the Ariel video! I had to wait a couple days until I knew I could watch it uninterrupted. It’s amazing! I love the seashell lace and button details. I think you’ve got a good start on the Pirate Ariel already, so you might as well finish her, right? 😉

For me when I have to do something that is really boring and I don’t want to do it, I make it into a game or set a timer for myself.

Honey, as a 60+ year old, a little advice, if l may? Please check your posture while you sew. It worries me that you hunch over as you do. Get some extra light if you need.
Your reveal is super cute, especially the sunset on the Indian Ocean!
Honestly I worry about my posture to and have been looking into a few things to help me with it as I spend so much time at a computer or sewing machine
