The whole of little nightmares 2 was in the first game XD
It’s really weird to see just how much continuity this series has, not only people in little nightmares 2, but also very little nightmares
8:57 The two paintings on the left seem almost like child versions of the chefs. They share similar features like facial shape, mouth shape, nose size. Maybe this is what they look like without masks and as children. Maybe then the painting on the right is what the two looked like as normal children, uncorrupted.

@Victory Adajar I'd assume that'd be Chef #2 as he looked like he had the more greener skin, and the mask kinda looks like his too.
@Victory Adajar I'd like to say that 5:46 looks like the girl in the yellow raincoat from Very Little Nightmares however she has only one pigtail with a red ribbon while this girl has two will blue ribbons.
As for the the girls at 2:24. The one on the right is from a concept art of the early Little Nightmares. She was one of the five children you had to save. This was replaced by the Nomes I believe. Interestingly, she looks like the girl with the bloody nose from the Little Nightmares II comics, which provokes many questions. The girl on the left looks like an old version of her, however the problem with that thought is that the bloody nose girl has red hair while this older girl has brown hair.
Finally the place at 0:17, I'm not entirely sure but I believe this was an early design for a bathhouse for the guests. I may be wrong on that one though.
@Victory Adajar Bandai original planned to have five children you needed to free in the first game. However that idea was scraped and replaced with the Nomes.
I believe she looks like the Nosebleed Girl as well. I don't know if they just reused the design from old art or if it actually means something.

0:25, the second drawing on the second row foreshadows the ending of LN1, and the second picture on the third row has the Thin Man.
If you look closely at 5:00 you can see Mono sitting in the center of the Eyes in a chair...

not real crazy, example of a game being planned from the start: half life, in opposing force, G man reactivates the black ops nuke, therefor, sending in the Universal Union/combine.
So I don't remember where I heard this, but basically someone said that some people thought that the guy on the far right at 1:45 could be The Hunter from LN2 unmasked and their argument was that the left eye was on the right position to be where the "eye" of The Hunter is
Now, in the picture shown at 7:44 we can see someone very similar to said Hunter but in different clothes
Now, look at the clothes of that one picture of The Hunter and the picture of the guy at 1:45

It’s in a secret room where nomes are looking at children’s portraits, some of which are concept are characters for LN1

I'm guessing these aren't nomes. They are the dunce students from little nightmares 2 lots of portraits are those of ln2 anyways.
I feel that the right portrait at 2:06 was created when the LN universe was still normal but the corruption was starting to gradually become more noticable.
1:36 The portrait on the right can be seen in both the first game (Secrets of the Maw DLC, The Residence) and the second (Chapter 2, first hallway).
Although something tells me many of them appear in both games.

The person at 7:41 is not the hunter, is knowned as the mirror monster. It’s a monster that haves large tentacles and appears in the reflection of mirror. He might look like the hunter cuz of his sack but his not
i havent seen metronome or what it was about yet but theres also a person in a top hat in Very Little nightmares. The part where the gnomes jump on the bed and another time riding on the hot air balloon

I like the one of the 3 the city of metronome easter eggs in the game like the 2 metrognome pictures 1 on the suitcase in the beginning of the first game and on the lid in the vents in a small room where there is a nome and you can only see it in first person mode and and the metrognome in a box on a shelf in the toy room and also the 1 statik easter egg in a room with file's with a machine from the trailer statik. Hopefully Tarsier is going to bring back the city of metronome or i hope so.
Everyone are saying that painting on 7:41 is the hunter, that's not true, the person on that paiting is hanging man that we see on begining at Little Nightmares 1

Actually, the guy in the picture at 7:44 is called the Mirror Monster, a creature from the official comics. He has tentacles that look like roots instead of a head and lives in mirrors, from where he often kidnaps children. You can search for him on internet, there are many images of him

That first fella is NOT the Hunter. Hunter has a bigger and taller head, plus that thing is wearing the Mirror Man's clothes. Y'know, the Mirror Man could've been the one who warped the Lady's reflection in The Residence, as well as the reason why every other mirror is shattered - it could've followed Ferryman to find the Maw, where the Lady tried to seal it away as best she could. As for the Hunter's case, it's likely that Mirror Man's reach is infinite, meaning no mirror can be left in one piece.
Also, Tarsier Studios said Hunter was originally going to have the Doctor's face, and there's a piece of LN2 concept art that shows Six holding his decapitated head infront of a collapsed Mono, as well as a photo in the Wilderness that shows his scrapped face (WildernessCreepyGuy). The Hunter currently doesn't have a confirmed real face at all.

It's interesting that most the monsters in Little Nightmares 2 took inspiration from some of the pictures in Little Nightmares 1 like The Doctor, The Hunter, The Teacher, The Eyes, The Thin Man, The Bullies, etc.
Edit: At 1:43, the guest on the left is in the game, just without the hair and with clothes on and there are some other pictures of guests too. I also found something interesting. No, It's a removed character called the barber.
Yes the head resembles that its barber but the uniform is the teachers and the one time we see the barbers picture he is wearing a red suit in it
Nope, the concept artists just combined two different characters in a couple of portraits. The teacher's design was already planned from the beginning.

It's one of the guests that you see in their area just with his original hair that got removed and for some reason he has no clothes but you can see him in the area sucking on meat in their chapter.
