    Loved this! I was so concentrated on the cars, a couple of times I found myself forgetting this was on you-tube and trying to look around you to see a car you just passed (0: My hubby asked what I was watching, when I told him he just rolled his eyes and said "of course you are", cause he knows how I love anything old. My dream car is a 1938 Ford pickup truck. Thanks for sharing.

    I enjoyed the walk down memory lane and your conversation along the way. Also, I appreciate the absence of background “music”. You’re a great distraction from the political chaos here in America and very helpful eliminating stress. Thank you.

    Very entertaining. Lots of really nice 20's and 30's era iron. That's a rarity these days.
    Thanks for the tour.

    Can't , find my previous comment, so I'll add another. Wow ! Junkyards such as this one is beyond rare ! The Marmom that you passed by should be rescued. It is a iconic auto. almost at the level of a Duesenberg. Great job !!!!!

    I spent a day at a yard in Georgia,a couple of years ago. Similar stock was there, but in great shape. The old man was not willing to sell a thing! More of a hoarder than a collector. Nice to see all this for sale. Really enjoy your content.

    Enjoy your videos. Loved your anecdote about "No Minors". My sister recently "confessed" to me that when we were little kids she thought that passengers on a bus, be they 5 or 50, all
    knew each other.

    Love the videos , even more so because their local . I lived out by Gibbons 6 years ago and allways wondered how many hidden gems were in the trees on old farms . I'm going to A1 today to check out the blue 63 comet you had in your earlier vid. I'm a huge fan of old buses and would love that Le normand .. Which is actually a Prevost model built in Québec. 😄👍

    Great video, many cool cars and trucks to remind us of a time gone by SADLY most are to far gone to use for a build today unless you are just looking for a pattern to work from.... you can see holes through a number of vehicles you said would make a cool build... amazing.

  • @bigkahuna1950
    @bigkahuna1950 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So much cool stuff! That little red corvair 2 door was a first year of production model... you can tell by the convex panel where a grill would normally go on a conventional car. And that ram rod 350! That is very rare and prized above 442 models of the same year. Thanks for sharing... love the adventures.

    • @bigkahuna1950
      @bigkahuna1950 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whoops, sorry, but I made a bonehead mistake on that corvair... first year models had a concave panel. I had to correct this before everybody gets riled up, lol. Cool car anyway.

    • @CuriosityIncorporated

    So funny what we think as kids. My grandpa worked the graveyard 11pm - 7am my brother ask what do you do mow the grass or dig the grave? I knew my grandpa worked at International Paper Mill so I wasn’t sure about the graveyard part myself. What a find!!! The old 🚘 car grave. So cool WOW on the Mustang.

    They don't build super cars like these anymore. Miss my Monte Carlo '76 coupe and the first year mustang. Not to mention my 76 XJS coupe Jag. Fun looking around. Btw the chrome today isn't close to the chrome of yesterday. I loved it!

    My husband is a Mopar man. I'm going to have him watch this, he'll be so jealous. I had a 69 Dodge charger, ended up having to sell it. Couldn't find a couple pieces I needed. We live in Pennsylvania, the dukes of Hazzard ruined them all. I did show it to my husband (61). He enjoyed it alot. I think there was a little envy there. I have been through a lot of junk yards in my time. I think if he knew where this one was I'd have to spend a week there. He knew what most were. Was know as the Mopar man. Before computers. Thanks.

    Cool find that place is very organized considering many of those older box trucks likethe Divcos and Metros are hot items. Today to build into hot rods or advertising trucks I used to think the old milk trucks were neat Because they were set up to drive standing up or sitting While doing deliveries I delivered newspapers as a kid and would see the guys delivering thei milk early in the morning when i. Did my paper route A couple guys used to give me ice cold chocolate milk for free And would show me their truck too !

    Thanks for the tour, that place is a gold mine. I don't know how you feel about Old Olds Cutlasses, but you looked at a few at the beginning, they are great cars to build, and fairly sought after for resale if you don't like. Nothing rides like a nice 442 Cutlass.
    By the way who ever owns all those cars I hope is advertising world wide. It would be absolutely terrible if these cars don't find where they need to be world wide.

    I'm surprised that everyone over looked the 1972 Chevelle Concours Estate wagon at 29:08 they only made less than 10,000 all together and the production number can be broken down even further if it was a 3rd seat model or not. Also those Starfire convertibles are worth a boat load when there restored

    The Oldsmobile super 88 looks just awesome. If i had the money and would live in Canada i would buy it and try to rebuild it.

      What are the odds that the owner has ''Every' title for every vehicle there?

    @ 2:26, RITE AFTER HE SAYS, "THAT CHARGER NEEDS TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD", He shows a teal chrysler Newport that is in such mint condition, The driver door sounded like it was a brand new car, SOLID! IT NEEDED A NEW TRUNK LOCK, THATS ALL I COULD SEE WRONG WITH IT!!! Seemed to be a very nicely preserved car!!! I would love to have it & many more! That car is in way to nice of shape to be sitting in a junk yard!!! WHAT A SHAME TO WAISTE A PERFECTLY GOOD, REAR WHEEL DRIVE, FULL FRAME CLASSIC IN PRESTINE CONDITION CONSIDERING! I WOULD DRIVE WHEREVER TO SAVE THAT CAR! I AM SURE I COULD HAVE IT UP & RUNNING PROBABLY THAT SAME DAY! REMOVE & DRAIN THE GAS TANK, INSPECT IT, COAT IT WITH A LINING SUBSTANCE, MAYBE ADD A NEW FUEL PUMP FOR GOOD MEASURE & GO PREPARED WITH A NEW BATTERY, GAS TANK & FUEL PUMP, NEW GAS LINE & I BET SHE FIRES RITE UP!!!! SOME BADASS CARS IN THAT YARD! ID GIVE MY LEFT XXX FOR MANY OF THEM!!! YET, THEY JUST LET THEM ROT AWAY! WHAT A SHAME! THE CHRYSLER LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD FIRE RITE UP!

    Loved the comment " lots of cool muscle here" when every thing is buried in snow.

    I laughed a lot - great tour ! From my perspective, perfect weather for a junkyard walk - the old treasures pop. Did Bill buy the truck?

    Oh my...can't wait to open the garage with my brother and do trips to such places to get some projects. These places will all disappear soon.
    How do you get to approach the owner of a place like this ? Junkyard owners are often unwelcoming in my little experience. Glad to know everything is for sale.
