Beautiful build ! I wish more builders would use plunger frames instead of rigids when making bobbers as they keep the aesthetic lines of the rigid while offering a much more comfortable ride. TY for posting & wishing you many years of safe & fun riding.
I had a very similar bike. It was the 1953 model, chopped, with extended forks and raked frame. Everything was chromed. It had open pipes too. It's nice to hear that same sound again, after so long! I sold mine for £350 in 1975... Wish I still had it... After I rebuilding the engine, I had no trouble with it at all. That rear suspension system was effective and problem-free.
No it ain't. That's how we built them over here. Triumph only changed over to left hand change in order to accomodate the American market for export. Right hand change comes directly from the gearchange mechanism, and exits through the outer gearbox cover. Dead simple engineering. Left hand change gets a right old Mickey Mouse set up and has to exit through the primary cover..
really captures the elegant minimalist beauty of the early choppers.

A really beautiful bike man. 😎👍👍👍
Fantastic bike but personally I think a white-wall on the front would look better.
it needs a girder or springer front end to compliment the plunger.
Anunnaki Elohim Built a similar 7" over chop with girders. Sweet as a nut and held the road great.
Simply beautiful.
A right side foot shifter is nuts
