Ohhh Willow...I wanted to give you a hug through this! Trust your intuition with food, it doesn't want to scare you, it wants to help you. Keep practicing and it will get easier. Have you thought of cooking larger portions and freezing them? Then you wouldn't have to shop as much. We shop once a month to save time. Buying in bulk and processing it down has many advantages :) You could turn the heat down for less steam and add more liquid.
@@Fireside-Chat-With-Kat thank you soo much!! I feel hugged just hearing that you felt like hugging me! 🤗 I know it’s a difficult thing to learn to cook, but I’m determined! I’d like to start freezing food, but for now I’m just trying to cook and eat so I’m not tempted to scavenge like I’ve been doing since my divorce. I’ll get there! I have so much faith in myself 😊.
Lots going thru my mind while watching this but the canned diced tomatoes not being with the pasta sauce and in the canned vegetable aisle still gets me confused. I think the other peppers you mentioned are serrano aka cicadas also you can use scissors to cut up your nori into thinner strips. I would think the healing energies from using good ingredients will counter balance all your anxiety. Hope your feeling some better.
@@heatherfoley4945 I absolutely love that you are helping me navigate this journey!! I did actually find the canned tomatoes at the very end of the isle. The soup recipe actually made a lot of servings so I was able to eat it for quite a few meals. Eating whole foods as well as walking and getting outside more is starting to lesson my anxiety. Shopping and cooking for myself is a whole new way of moving through my day. I’ll get it though, I’m determined! 😊
Thank you 😊 I sometimes don’t pronounce words perfectly. Like I noticed that I mispronounced perforated so I typed it over the frame so people knew what meant. 🤷🏼♀️ Thank you for watching and supporting my channel! 💕
