Thanks for Watching!!!

Looking forward to this one. Especially when you mount the picker.👍👍👍👍👍
Hopefully I keep this project moving. I know I’m missing some stuff with the picker but if I can just get it mounted on the tractor that’ll be a good start.
Good that you'll never have an opportunity to be bored.
Hope you keep going on this project! 😃
I had one slightly stuck once and put the juice that is a mystery in the cylinders. Then I jacked up the back and put it on a set of car ramps. In first gear sitting on the downslope of the ramps. Came out one morning and it was sitting at the bottom of the ramps.
Life for you will never be boring...just need more time/money/patience to undertake the multitude of projects. Cash-generating jobs may relieve the cash-flow part of life. Interesting to view pieces of farming history revived.
Yeah, if money was endless, I think things will get done faster 🤣
Keep the videos coming
Will do! Thanks!
Ross so many projects but so little time also you could do with a workshop to do your repairs in comfort
I liked it and you’re not a moron
Like it ,like it
Thanks!
I had a # 4 picker on an HP 70 for a few years before we got the corn head on the combine. the picker was in the old shed at the home place. Over the years it got pushed outside and basically destroyed. Still have the tractor, wish I still had the picker.
I have used both rocks and bolts in my gas tanks, and strapped them to another tractor wheel and drove them around. Really cleans tanks up nice.
Ross, muriatic acid ( swimming pool supplies ) will eat rust but be careful when using it. Read instructions. If there is a hole in the tank or a piece of rust about to make a hole it should find that weak spot.
The best laid plans of mice and men!
Our something like that! Ha!
That engine has developed Arthritis!!!
🤣🤣🤣
I liked the video Ross. Seems we always have to many projects. I know myself, by the time I get to it, it turns out to be a bigger issue than if I had gotten to it when I said i would. But that is just how things go with me. Good luck with the old 77. Lots of history with the ole gal.
neighbor has a kubota with a loader that was attractive, but too much slop in the steering. Not really a project but I just don't want more noise right now
Thanks!!
Don't you love having so many projects you don't where to start? I'm looking forward to seeing the old 77 run again especially one that's possibly a family tie.
🤣 at least I know I won’t die of boredom!
good job 23:35
Thanks!
I’ve been waiting for this project! Mounted pickers are neat!
Thanks! Hopefully I can make it happen!
Ross, hopefully you can get the motor running again. Thanks Michael
Thanks Michael!
Nice video Ross.
Thanks Larry!
Hopefully it won't take too much effort to break it loose. Good luck!
Thanks Robert!
Ross I feel your pain. Been in the same boat. I bought a CA at an auction that I tried before hand to turn over. It seemed stuck, but the owner swore "it ran 2 weeks ago" I finally got it freed up. I also have a C that stuck sitting in the shed, it's loose now. And my daughter bought a B low rider project that "was running" it's stuck also. Must be something with the 125 engine?? But anyway, I use a 50/50 mix of acetone and automatic trans fluid. Idk if it's any better than anything off the shelf or not, but seems to eventually work. Good luck, and I hope it is your family heirloom you have! I have one of those, and it'll never leave as long as I'm alive! I wish I could find a few more that did get away, I'm looking all the time!
An Allis CA is a great tractor to have
Thanks!!!
The Field of Failure = Studio F. 👍🏻
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If at first you dont succeed......start a new project is my motto..
😂😂😂, you crack me up. You make it sound like you never get anything done, hahahaha. You are always tinkering with something and making headway on something, lol. I have the same problem, so many projects and very little time, 😂. Pull it out, overhaul it so it has new rings and bearings. You will be happier that way, lol. See you later.
I use a mix of kerosene an auto transmission fluid to free up a stuck moter
The issue can be that the longer you wait even the new parts can rust. Too many irons in the fire, always a problem.
Agree!
This is probably the worst thing to do. But I have had luck with throwing a handful or 2 of sand blasting sand into the tank and putting a pressure washer into the cap and blow that around for a while. Put plugs in the outher ports obviously
Ross doesn't rustolium hunter green match the 2 digit Oliver green? I want to paint my 1951 77 here soon. Thanks
Toilet bowl cleaner and water is the fastest .
at what ratio?
@@landontesar3070 ask Steves small engine salon on you tube . That's where I heard it .
I’ll have to try that sometime!
Am I hearing frogs in your video I know I'm hearing birds sure has a nice sound to it
Yeah, springtime is near!
I only hit like as there is not a sadness button.
I just acquired a 1953 Oliver 77. Before I even get started on it I need to find a rear wheel for it, it's completely rotted out. Should be fun trying to find one here in Florida-nope. I already know I'll be taking a road trip to get one. Anyone have one they want to sell?
👍🏻🇺🇸🤔
Dang, I hated having to take those pickers off and then put them back on when the engine needed major repairs.
I have tried to run down my grandfather's and an uncle's tractors with no luck I asked my uncle's wife why she sold it without telling me, she said "you already have a tractor why would you want that one?"
😢
The shipper damaged it then they are liable.
Yeah, it was kind of a mess, but I ended up the loser in this one 😭
Oh no not good hooe get it lose bud
