Tbh. This is the first time I have seen Dylan smile spontaneously. I've listened to him since the 60s. In concert and later interviews he always looked so sad and depressed. Thanks. Nice clip of this legend. ❤
Last night when i was in bed, I was thinking which of Dylans album covers i like the most. So i was going through them in my mind. The first one didn´t make it to the final, because of the funny looking hat. Today i got the answer why he wore it 🙂
Must be nice to be interviewed by someone with whom you share a little history instead of someone asking the same old tired questions again. Plus, nice for us to gain a little insight into what it was like breaking into show biz in New York during the early 60s.
He wore the corduroy cap to honor Woody Guthrie. John Lennon copied wearing that from Dylan. Dylan's most famous hat? Probably the Mad Hatter Topper from 1965-66.
I think David Lee Roth is mad at me,... I said once that David’s itchy laugh sounded like the creepy con in the movie Shawshank Redemption,...the one that admitted to his cell mate that he was the one who really wacked Andy Dufresne’s Wife ...Hence David Lee Roth dressed in all yellow holding a cane singing and dancing to a song about a little bird ...it’s on youtube. (Ir maybe i’m just paranoid... Q the creepy cons Laugh)

Yeah Bob clearly at ease with this lady. Not often you see Bob this chilled on camera.
He was putting the moves on her. He was still doing that back then.
David Lee Roth even had a thing for Martha --- she could charm all the male rockers
Bob very patient with an obviously anxious Martha Quinn. He seems to like her, and Bob is very interesting and funny with her.
I have not seen Dylan that open and relaxed--maybe ever. plus I had never heard the story that Manny was DLRs uncle
Roth had an entire episode on his TH-cam channel about his Uncle Manny --- very interesting character
@@JoeZaccaris I will check that out Joey Z. thanks bud.
This was filmed back stage literally 5 mins before Bob was about to play for 80k people - I was there.

I hardly understood a word he said, but having said that, I've never heard Bob Dylan talk so much.
Bob is so effusive with Martha Quinn here! Truly, we’ll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn! 😂😂😂
Watch the whole interview - the next bit Bob is teasing Martha but she doesn’t realise it😄 He has a very dry humour which I love🥰
really interesting and enjoyable conversation. how wonderful musicians had a place to hone their craft. (Very practical, that whole hat bit 😉) 🙏

Street Legal.....best
Or Desire
He can be a charming mf when he wants to
He seems very moody and withdrawn in most of his interviews
even Bob had a "glam" phase
So weird seeing him wearing mascara
Actually this is possibly the most important question I can think of to ask Bob..what;s with all the hats ...now I know!
Bob is the one who brought up the topic of hats, not the interviewer
Wow Bob speaks!🎉😂😮

Uncle Manny aye?
Fond Regards,
“O say can you see,by the dawns...”
sounds like a regular guy... you don't think of him this way

Bob should have replaced DLR in VH.
Oh sweet Jesus .... that woulda been hilarous
Vocals wouldn't have been any worse (live).
Almost as much eye makeup as Alice Cooper.
Wonder why Bob never bothered to take care of his teeth.
Probably because he didn't aspire to be an influencer on Instagram or advertise toopastes
He smoked like a chimney --- chain smokers have bad teeth
Bob’s mascara phase… 😐
I think even Roth was wearing mascara in his "Yankee Rose" video --- late 80's was messin' with peoples' heads LOL

David Lee Roth doesn't think about you
Martha Quinn should have shut up and let him speak.
Bob can talk about how he unabashedly performs for settler-colonizers in an apartheid state.
You know it all, huh? Black and white. And you.
America?
