I’ve gotten my Kenworth going by blowing hot air under the engine with big diesel heater. Tarp it in.
    0-40 oil in the winter.

I’ve had 3 diesel’s in my life a 78 ford converted to a 453 t Detroit that was the first always ran treatment in in the fuel , I was able able to start that at 13 degrees in less than 30 seconds with a failed block heater. Second one I owned was a 07 duramax I was living in anchorage Ak always used fuel treatment never had an issue. Now I’m back in Spokane and own another duramax, never had an issue but I run fuel treatment, what’s the common denominator!!!

Love the videos! What side of Washington are you in to get 0 degrees? I’m from Vancouver and it stays warmer down south usually pretty mild.

Love to se you’re 2014 with that mileage at work, got same configuration even color just 2500 in 2015 Limited and still have it 👍🏻Any problems with power steering system with 4th gen’s Rams?
Got bunch of buzzing when turning at low speeds and it sounds like engine fan is on while driving and it’s in low rpm

If we had diesel hybrids we would be looking at over 100mpg on cars and 50 plus with large trucks. But that would be too simple for our government bureaucrats….always have to make things too complicated to make them look like they are working so hard.

25KW battery and a 3.0 Diesel engine. You could achieve well over 50MPG and retain torque/horsepower + reliability in winter conditions etc.

Nah, the future is hydrogen. Batteries will be a thing of the past in the near future.

Diesel/electric is a delicious looking future if it works in smaller applications as well as it's worked for locomotives for 80 years, and provides "engine" braking with enough cooling... I, for one, welcome our hybrid overlords
