This is the Striker Marincess list I was testing last format. Blue Tang x3 Sea Horse x3 Mandarin x3 Pascale x3 Cynet Mining x3 Engage x3 Widow Anchor x3 Hornet Drones Shark Cannon Afterburners Called by the Grave x3 Marincess Battle Ocean x2 Foolish Burial Goods x2 Metalfoes Fusion Upstart Goblin Monster Reborn World Legacy Succession Infinite Impermanence x3 Marincess Wave x2 Extra Kagari Shizuku Borreload Dragon Knightmare Phoenix Sea Angel x2 Blue Slug x2 Crystal Heart x2 Coral Anemone x2 Marbled Rock x1 Wonder Heart x2 I think two Battle Ocean is the correct ratio because it's not something you want to open multiples of, but it's the backbone of the deck and it's nigh impossible to sit on Wonder Heart without it. This is the deck's weakness as it doesn't have a particularly good way to protect its field spell and none of the link monsters are amazing without the protection. With that said, I think three Wave is basically mandatory for the deck, especially now that widow anchor is at 1. It's really strong and their best way to survive without the field spell. The rest of the choices are just sky striker goodstuff. It's not at all difficult to get maximum value off the engages with the right opening, and you can only snowball in card advantage the longer the game goes on. I think this was strongest argument for this variant as it isn't really looking to kill the opponent in one turn or create an unbreakable board. It's gameplan is very linear (to the point of being kind of boring) and honest. The protect the castle style of play is best complimented by the Striker engine. I'm not sure what I'd replace the widow anchors with for this format. I want to test other variants and gain insight from that. I think the deck is one card away from being really good so it's definitely worth keeping an eye on it. Thanks for reading my blog.
It amazes me how nobody is talking about marincess mermail frogs. Mermails have amazing synergy with the deck and it helps with more variability in the deck and gives the deck more options and power plays. I believe going foward a build like this will be more than likely the best variant of the deck.
@@leonardoodranoel4086 Alot. There is some older videos of people testing different varients of mermails splashed with the deck. Mermails are used as extendors for the deck incase the marincess combo gets stopped somehow you still have mermails in your hand to continue your plays and do more other things like hand loop and create big boards (calamities and or with some negates)

Quite a nice list. In case battle ocean goes, I play 1 code radiator and shootingcode talker, so that I can neg a monster and ram into it with shootingcode. (also can special code radiator from hand to a zone thanks to sea horse to negate 2 monster effects) which is searchable by cynet mining!
Nice video but with the second combo. Towards the end make the coral in the zone sea angel points to and make crystal heart in the extra monster card zone just in case they are holding the nibearu. Makes you a little less vunrable.
In your Random Hand combo, you didn't use Blue Tang's effect to Pot of Duality when you linked her off. There's a chance you'd have an additional card in hand to work with.

This deck looks fun to play, pity it's soo damn expensive and won't be tier 1..... The main reason it won't be top tier is, its too reliant on the extra monster zone and is a very protect the castle style control deck (think buijins, qlis, knoble knights, etc) and once the board is broken it struggles a lot. Kaijus inherently out it's boards, same thing with cyber dragons (immunity to card effects does not mean immunity to game mechanics) at which point you've basically gone set 1 or 2 and pass (maybe with an ash in hand). It's a shame as I would like to see it be a good deck, but the reality is it isn't as strong as something like salads or orcust who play very similar style (combo through monsters into a couple of backrow to try and control the board), but can recover a lot better and also have the ability to break boards easier.
well ain't this damn depressing that this game's hit 10,000 cards and all but a dozen or so allow you to play past a single destruction button and negate. Not even getting into floodgates. No, I'm serious, this keeps me up nights.
I wish this deck had the ability to break established board's like salamangreat. seems like a worse Salad tbh or they should at least make more water link monsters for the deck's water only summon limitation after anemone not hinder them so bad because the pool of Water links is abysmal
@@kbm1992 Reprints in structure decks are never holo unless we're talking about alternate arts or Legendary Decks. Cynet Mining in a Marincess Structure Deck would be common.
With ash, I would say Blue tang. If possible also mining. Just my personal opinion. A friend of mine plays the deck at locals. The thing is, the frog engine just helps extend into full combo no matter what. Like salad, abyss dweller, dimensional shifter, and nibiru are probably the best ways to actually stop the deck for a turn. In my opinion they are better than salad. Hope this helps
Phoenix is good and all until the deck hits you with the “can only special summon water monsters” and then the card feels like a waste of extra deck space...
