Straightening fabric panels tutorial (How to straighten fabric panels for quilting) 2020

Straightening fabric panels will improve your quilts!
Learn how and why this straightening technique will make your projects easier to sew.
The fact is that fabric stretches as it is manufactured and packaged. This can cause the pictures printed on the panel to be "off kilter". They are supposed to be square (or rectangular) and when you get one it is often stretched or bowed and the edges are crooked. Don't you hate that?

Thank you for posting this demonstration on straightening a panel! Our non-verbal autistic grandson absolutely loves the alphabet and Dr. Seuss, so I want to sew him an alphabet quilt with a Dr. Seuss panel. What I received in the mail, however, it made me cringe because it was so misshapen. You saved the day, though ... it's now square (enough) and ready for a couple of rows of Pup in the Cup borders! He's going to be thrilled when he sees it in a couple of weeks. ❤
