My first Pad Thai was at Ratchaburi province almost 50 yrs ago. It had no prawn or any kind of meat (except dried shrimp) but still very delicious. Till this day i still have not found the taste like that anywhere.

Not that there is no fish sauce but it's already in the stock she put earlier into the wok. For that spicy sauce I bet its purpose is for the color and some heat cuz traditionally we do not add any siracha style sauce into our Pad Thai.😅😅 I'm very curious of what that actually tastes like after seeing what she added ... But it sure looks great.❤

Thailand was my home for 13 years and my least favorite food was Pad Thai, usually it consisted of mainly just rice with a little vegetable and a little meat, fish product and usually very dry.
But that one I give a go

The last pad Thai I experienced was incidentally at the end of April at Spice Curry, Funchal & it was basically average.
I've never had pad kra pao by the way.
Please don't judge me as it was coming up to 11pm & we needed some grub!
