Good thing you mentioned all the gear you used before sending the fish back. Got to keep those sponsors happy.. that fish could've got back if it wasnt for all the vain BS for the likes!
I don't normally have an issue with how you guys fish but last couple of shows haven't shown much conservation at all..

Go easy Tyrone, these guys are showing us the reality of fishing. If they don't have sponsers how are they going to afford to give us this great show. That fish may, or may not have made it anyway and if your a fisherman you would know that. And don't forget they could have just edited that out and your none the wiser. They don't! They did there best to return it and it didn't work out. Im sure that there will be some very happy campers back home getting a feed, maybe a family who is struggling. And as for conservation, you might be better off writing to the fisheries and asking why the trawlers are allowed to rape and pillage our coastline. The box nets decimating our fish stocks, not to mention the foreign vessels sneaking around with impunity. Sorry for the rant bro, but just had to get it out.
Big kingi burn themselves out.Especially when fished out of deep water.I have had many big fish that i have personally caught and tried to release do exactly as this fish did.Not every fish can be released.Give them a break.
Yeah they did stuff around getting that hook out for a while!! A fish that big I would move a little faster to get him back
