Thanks! It's going to be a whole new age. My first post CPKC catch was with a KCS leader, so that wasn't too bad. It will be a while before they repaint them so there is still hope.
I don't think that we'll see many units in the new paint anytime soon. It costs money to repaint locomotives that don't need a fresh coat. I personally think it will be a very long time until we stop seeing these CP and KCS fallen flags. Thanks very much for watching. Hi Andrew. Thank you for a great recap of the events leading up to midnight tonight. It has been a long road for CP and KCS to get here. The loss of the CPR name will be an unwelcome change for me because of the key role the railway played in the building of this country. Think of all of the much loved variations on the CPR logos we've enjoyed over the decades. I hope that CP will not go on an immediate wholesale repainting scheme. lol. James.

I'm with you. Sad to see CP fade into history; but this will be an interesting set of times ahead for railroading.
I wonder how long it will take new units to be seen and if they are going to keep running the old style paint scheme.
