Ranieri was actually very good at Chelsea, not merely decent. While Mourinho was great and right away, what he did was continue trajectory of the club under Ranieri. He, as much as Mourinho, guided Chelsea from the Dennis Wise "win with grit" era into the Lampard/Terry "win with quality AND grit" era. Fun fact: it was, fittingly, a Chelsea result that sealed the deal for Leicester. That made me feel good at the time, and in hindsight.

Doesn’t deserve to be any higher in the list, he’s won as many titles as Mancini, Pelligrini, Ancelotti and Dalglish, all of whom didn’t make the list.
Klopp is a fantastic manager, but his Prem finishes have been 8th, 4th, 4th, 2nd, 1st, 3rd and now probably 2nd. That’s amazing, but it’s not anywhere near Pep, Wenger, Mourinho or Ferguson

Quite an interesting question, do people think it’s even hypothetically possible for Pep Guardiola to top this list? Say he stayed at City another 15 seasons and won more than 10 of them eclipsing Ferguson’s 13 titles do people think that would put him over the top or does the manner in which he does it(with massive spending) mean he can never top this list?

    • @tt99football56

Ferguson spent big to, so no reason why not. The case can be made already, that with 4 titles in 6 years he's dominating like Ferguson.

I think Rodgers takes over Ranieri in this 7 based on the fanatastix job he’s done at Leicester. His big problem is faltering towards the end of the season. Surely he wouldve ranked much higher had he won the PL and finished top 4 in the last two season. All three he missed by a very small margin.
