Dricus and merab are pressure fighters . They are constantly making their opponents uncomfortable, always making their opponents react , no time to think …… they make their opponents make mistakes . That’s why they are good.

Well, Dricus has never been aesthetically pleasing, but he always manages to get the results... I've watched him for years, becoming a double champ in EFC, and I learned to never doubt him. This is true especially after the fight with Henry who folded former BW goat Dominick Cruz and dillishaw at FW. I’ll be honest I wanted Henry to return and win so he had a gn ace at fighting volk and being a champ over 3 weight classes in the ufc. But I never really hated on sterling just I guess was insatisfied with how he won the title but that didn’t matter after the 2nd yan fight. In my personal opinion I think DDP's greatest strengths is his ability to get his opponents to brawl with DDP and fight theses wars of attrition that DDP wins like with Branson. Now I don't think it will be easy to out brawl Whittaker I am Whittaker fought Romero for 50 minutes and both fights were wars but still I think that fight with Whittaker vs DDP is going to be fun

He holds ufc record for most takedowns in 1 fight and overall just check he’s other fights in ufc. Merab can submit opponents it’s just that his jiu jitsu got developed so late that he already has only top nodge elite opponents who are hard to submit, while he did a charity professional mma fight before fighting Yan and he actually choke submitted his opponent there. This is true especially after the fight with Henry who folded former BW goat Dominick Cruz and dillishaw at FW. I’ll be honest I wanted Henry to return and win so he had a gn ace at fighting volk and being a champ over 3 weight classes in the ufc. But I never really hated on sterling just I guess was insatisfied with how he won the title but that didn’t matter after the 2nd yan fight. And pre much nothing anyone can say matters after he beat cejudo, unless o malley beats him but I think he won’t since in my opinion cejudo had a better chance who knows it’s mma end of the day.
Tbf one of those title defenses was against a guy who never should've been allowed to compete, any ranked fighter would've beaten TJ that night

In my personal opinion I think DDP's greatest strengths is his ability to get his opponents to brawl with DDP and fight theses wars of attrition that DDP wins like with Branson. Now I don't think it will be easy to out brawl Whittaker I am Whittaker fought Romero for 50 minutes and both fights were wars but still I think that fight with Whittaker vs DDP is going to be fun

All of those Burt hurt Yan fanboys saying that Yan stopped so many takedowns, that guy got taken down 11 fucking times in 1 fight! 11 times! That’s a lot for 1 fight no matter how you put it and it doesn’t matter how many attempts Merab had, he also out striked him even if he had a right hand hand bone injury on wrist, Merab can’t take opponents down? He holds ufc record for most takedowns in 1 fight and overall just check he’s other fights in ufc. Yes he had 1 clean knock out but he knocked out a current Bellator champion who’s defending title on title. Merab is just a careful and smart fighter, but you basically make him look like he’s got only cardio which is not true. Judo background in mma in general is so underrated and people don’t even recognize those Georgian judo tricks he uses so effectively in fights.
