      @@CrashBandicot1995 dude that peoples elbow on a half dead bisping was crazy. I think the fighters of this era are better, more skilled and way more well rounded but these guys of the previous era were tough asf man. I think the closest in modern times I can think of with just a fighter amazing me with how bad ass they are is when max Holloway went like super Saiyan 6 on a Calvin kattar who is legit asf and in the middle of just beating this dude terribly he listening to Cormier and the announcers and while ducking and weaving punches from a guy who has legit top tier boxing screams out I’m the best boxer alive not even looking lol. The moment volk just terminatored out of being caught dead to rights in a mounted guillotine from a Henzo Gracie second degree black belt for almost 20 full seconds and proceeded to outlast Ortega’s grip, beat his ass in the guard only to get caught dead to rights in a triangle, outlast that and ended up on top just destroying Ortega with gnp and breaking him was really another badass modern moments

Man must have been emotional or something because he heard me and started going off on "not having any privacy".. if i didnt know who he was i might've actually punched him, instead i just stood there looking at him like an idiot. Tony’s double weight cut did more damage to himself than anything. He wasn’t himself in that fight… he was flat and lacked the fighting spirit energy he usually has.

    • @madgavin7568
      @madgavin7568 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      That's Tony's fault, he might be a darling of the fanbase but let face it he's not very smart. Most of Tony's problems throughout his career can be traced back to poor decision making on his part, and he's still making poor decisions.

    • @gh0rochi363
      @gh0rochi363 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That was just plain stupid on tonys part, not sure what result he expected doin that, I get how tough the man is but he's only human

    • @BrianForTheWin
      @BrianForTheWin 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He wasn’t flat at all till he tasted Justin’s power. Ferguson came out sharp and strong and staggered Gaetje, but a couple left hands like he never felt before later and he was on his back foot the rest of the night. Justin’s power is ridiculous. Will be interesting to see if Chandler is equally disabled. My guess would be yes. Ferguson vs Chandler should be a contest of who has more left after the Gaetje beat down. But neither will ever contend again.

    Conor wasn't really the same after Khabib. Sure he came back and beat an aging Donald Cerrone. But his personality and grit doesn't seem to be the same. Another one that came to my mind was Rockhold vs Bisping 2. Luke seemed unstoppable and when he lost his belt to Bisping, it really changed him. And everyone knows that Luke is a better fighter than Bisping, so to get KO'd in round 1 by a guy that isn't on your level must really sting.

    • @josemarialaguinge
      @josemarialaguinge 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Bisping is above Rockhold in my opinion, dude KO him with one eye, and not enough time to train. The first fight had the blood in his good eye.

      @@josemarialaguinge Rockhold is a better fighter then Bisping. He had better kicks, excellent submissions and unbelievable top control. Rockhold lost because he gets very cocky and keeps his hands low and Bisping caught him just right. More credit to Bisping because the guy had tons of grit and determination. But if Rockhold took Bisping seriously, he would beat him. Just like their first fight.

      @@ericknatterer5908 I think that's a different story, I phrased myself wrongly, I think Rockhold is a better fighter, but I think Bisping caughts him 6-7 out of 10 times. Rockhold defense sucks. Rockhold is better, Bisping beats him more times because of Luke tendencies.

    Can’t blame Barao for what happened to him. It’s hard for most people to even imagine being the best/2nd fighter in your weight class and possibly the world. And he probably felt unjustly treated as he defeated multiple challengers and still wasn’t given the belt. And when he was, he felt like he was on top of the world and had everything he dreamed of. To then get battered by someone you’ve probably never heard of until you got told you were fighting him and that your training for another guy is useless just felt like life couldn’t get worse. And with the cut on the head and hospital, it probably felt like life couldn’t get any worse. It would’ve been astonishing to see Barao win any of those next 8 fights with all that happening to him.
