Dicky was a smooth cat. He wrote quite a bit with the brothers no Dicky Betts no Allman Bros.

cut for time: a dickey guitar solo. oh well he got to sing, warren got the solo and gregg as always king of it all. many say outside of the original duane-led lineup this is the best ABB lineup of all.

This was a classic tune that would have been right up there with Ramblin' Man had it been recorded 20 years earlier. In 1994 it was a breath of fresh air amidst all the grunge sludge that was happening.

I was 20 in 94, out of all the concerts we went to that decade I can't think of a better live band that decade than the Allmans. We went all over the map to catch em.
93 saw Pearl Jam and Soundgarden open for Neil Young with Booker T and the M.Gs as his band. The old boys put on a clinic for the grunge set that day. Maybe I just wasn't jaded and depressed enough for grunge, I could never get into it. Cheers

At least we have The Allman Betts Band now with the sons of Gregg (Devon Allman) and Dickey (Duane Betts) carrying on the legacy, and creating something new. They also have Berry Oakley Jr. on bass too. You also still have Gov’t Mule, you have Tedeschi Trucks, and Widespread Panic as well. Yeah we all wish we could have the ABB back, but these bands do a good job of keeping the ABB legacy alive. There’s a lot of good material from all these groups I’ve mentioned.

I wish Willie Nelson and the Bros would have record a song together.

There’s no doubt this lineup was so tight but when Dicky fell apart and the rest of the guys couldn’t handle his bullshit anymore but they still bounce back after Dickie left and I think Derek trucks Warren Haynes and Oteil Burbridge when they came out with that lineup they smoked this lineup for sure RIP to all of the brothers we lost

Warren's tone is a bit too murky for my liking, but a great performance nonetheless.

I seen them perform this song back in 1992 at the Hartford Civic Center in Connecticut. When they were in tour for there album Back Where It All Begins. Truly one of my most memorable concerts.

I caught them just outside Toronto, Darien Lake New York, and somewhere in Michigan that tour. They were on fire that year.
