I grew up Riding XLT 600 triples with my buddies.. we ran straight dump pipes off the stingers... Wide open all the time.. used to ride open water on the fields in spring time a section at a time lol... Bank busting... you name it lol.. literally never blew one up.. love em.. 👍👍
I just found your YT channel a week or two ago. I've been watching a bunch of your videos. I absolutely love them. I notice that you have a couple of buddies who are really into vintage Polaris sleds also. I would love to see you do a couple of videos explaining the types and features of the chassis' produced by Polaris during the period that they produced the liquid cooled 2-stroke triples & twins. Maybe you could collaborate with some of your other 3-Cylinder Mafia members and make it a small series? Thanks for the great videos you have produced.
2 stroke turbo sleds are sweet, I’ve been looking at building another 583 turbo but I can’t bring myself to tear up my “new” sled because it’s had so much extra work done and it’s FAST
Looking forward to it all ! Would always think separate jugs would dissipate the heat better but maybe the big chunk monoblock does it better. Who knows. That XLT looks great though ! Take care Todd
Holy smokes guys!!! Really cool sleds!! Can’t wait to see the Pumpkin build 👍 I’ve got a 92 Pumpkin and it’s one of my faves! You guys sure seem to acquire some cool sleds!! Cheers 🍻
You may want to do a squish test on the heads before you tear it apart. I remember the turbos on flat land required a thick base gasket. But remember in the mountains that is just the opposite. But it’s your sled and I respect your own decision. I hope this helped
Can’t wait to see what Emirates over the summer. Your always building one offs brother and who ever ends up with it know they got a nice machine. Looking forward to following this build. 👍👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Turbo deal is sweet! Will be cool to see on a 650. If you want to part with the XCR seat I could take it off your hands. Need one to recover for a 94 XCR 600.
Todd, love the channel. Can you tell me how you press of and then on a driveshaft bearing. I just tore down a 02 polaris xc500 for parts for my 02 pro x 440 resto mod. The dealers and machine shops in lower michigan dont offer help. I figured you were the man to tali to. Thanks
Hopefully you can get that turbo to work on a 650 in doing research it just doesn't seem like anybody could get it back in the day Middlesex was about the only one that was close
The person I talked with was putting turbos on everything 2 stroke. A 650 was his first turboed sled. I'm very confident with his knowledge we should get this to work. I hope 😁
Todd, im super pumped about this build/sell deal. When I'm like when are Todd and Trent going to run out of ideas? Then yas both top yourselves again.😂. I'm still PATIENTLY waiting for my 1200 build.😅
It was going to be a 1200 build this year. I started putting together the numbers and realized I definitely need someone with money to back me on that project 😂😂
It's always been a dream of mine for the same reason! ...........eventually. I'd be willing to pitch in however I'm not a social media dweller as far as helping fundraising. I tried to figure it out the "cheap" way lol still close to 10 grand. You know what they say, no replacement for displacement!

If you like to help with the builds email me Polaris.trashcan@gmail.com
Make them for 98 Mach 1 by any chance? 🤔
@@Flyfisher_D sorry I don't

Just like the Energizer bunny 😂
Had a pumpkin 650. Was my favorites sled of all time. Absolutely looking forward to this build🍻
You and me both!

Great idea!! I have talked about them some in the past but not into detail. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Love your channel and builds! 👍🏽👍🏽How about making that xlt an awesome boondock/trail crossover sled, like we do here in Northern MI?
That's an idea
That xlt is sweet and the turbo is the cherry on top.
Also laughing my ass off as trenton did the classic hood open 😂😂😂
Gotta love the flip the hood open
Can't wait to see what kind of crazy stuff is up next for these sleds. Keep up the great work buddy 👍
Should be one hell of a hot rod when it's done

Absolutely love the thought of a hot rod build. Good stuff Boyz.
Should be fun

We will be building a 650 engine for the turbo.

Should be a good one
That's going to be a sweet build todd can't wait to watch this happen
Thanks
Aerocharger...wooooweeee, I remember those getting used on some ATV stuff back in the day, too.
That must have wild!!
Great sleds Todd! That xlt is cool. Looking forward to seeing the turbo 650 xcr build.
Thanks man
650 is going to sound so much better and be wild! 👍👍
I would think so
XLT turbos would eat up 700 and give the 800 a huge scare.
Dang that's awesome
I'll definitely be taking notes on this build. Been wanting to turbo a 650 for awhile lol
We all have 😂
no smoke from XLT, I would check oiler settings. but sweet projects, I love my XLT's have 6 of them.
1 or 6 it's all the same 😂. That's what I tell my wife
Awesome Todd keep the good work up
Thanks

I have plans for the seat 😁
Still white stuff on the ground an people riding everywhere. Drove my truck downriver today. Everything so green there!
We had snow till April last year
Nice sleds! Was wondering what was next for the Ol' Clyne shop. Cheers!
It's getting harder and harder for me to up the bar 🤣

Some have lock collars some don't
@@toddclyne3493 mine does not.
Man I can't wait 👍👍👍👍
Thanks
In this instance...it's the sled, not the rider. Should be a cool couple of builds!
Yep definitely the turbo prevailed 😂
Can't wait to see em!!😊
Thanks
hell ya Todd nice score

@@gregmcnamara9229 yeah some say you can do it for around 5 grand. I completely disagree 😂😂.
What a fucking unit
Fucking mint brother
You need to name the turbo sled “twisted chaos”!!😊
That's an idea
Sweet old showtime helmet
😂
You’re up in MN right ? I’m in Maine. Too long of a trip to buy a sled. Lol
Yes I am!
Amazing what some forced induction will do to an engine. Cheers Todd keep em inside out!
I agree
That's awsome👍
Thanks 😁
I don't have a 96 xlt. Might look good with the others I currently have
Could be yours for the right price 😁
Finally a turbski! 😂
Yep finally 😂
