    Wise in our own eyes.

The gospel of Christ is foolishness to those who are perishing, but for those who are being saved, it is the power of God, a sweet aroma of His saving grace. Even the wisest human philosophies are no more than childish silliness and riff faff compared to God's simple, obvious and clear wisdom. It's our sin, the worldly system, and the enemy who stirs up confusion to unbelievers. It is critical for us who follow Christ to pray for them unceasingly and have courage to reach out to them and proclaim the gospel. I commend pastor Todd for his courage and humilty.

What would he say if his family was tortured and dismembered?

This is so upsetting. I pray for this man and anyone else who's had to sit through this brainwashing class.

The God of the Christian Bible set up a system where every one of his children is condemned to agony for eternity, except if you happened to have proper belief system. Doesn't matter how good or bad you are, but if you have the proper belief system, you in with God. Millions of his own children are condemned to eternal agony because they have the wrong belief system. That may be how God is, but that is not a just and loving god. That would describe a monster not worthy of worship.

God is holy and rightoues and perfect and the thing is the wrath of God is never satisfied against the wicked (those who don't call upon the name of the Lord in faith) because they can never pay that sin debt. If one sin is enough to send someone to damnation then how much more would a multitude of sins. For that reason also besides all of the texts thats why i think the traditional view on this subject is correct in that their punishment is forever with eternal conscious torment in the Lake of Fire with Satan and his demons though I may be wrong but after a critical reading of the scriptures that seems to be the most biblical. But what we do know dogmaticly is that Jesus satisfied the wrath of God as he was the only one who could so that people can be saved since he was holy and righteous and perfect and took on humanity and became the propitiation this way to justify people who have faith simply. From that once you are saved you are always saved and thats what God taught me miraculously a few times.
