We present the Iron Man Scratch Match #3 Calvin Heimburg vs. James Conrad. In this series we have two players go head to head in a points based matchplay. We set the entire course to a par 54 for the players to attack. Points are earned from getting a birdie or par. If you get a bogey you receive zero points. If you get two bogeys in a row your score will reset back to zero.

Imagine everyone using a cart during the round? The speed of play would be unreal with some of these bombers lol
I love watching the casual round content, but on a bomber course like this I just don't understand why a 1200+ par 5 hole is listed as a par 3. I don't even think it's possible to get this hole in 3 for any player because of the late mando, water carry, etc. Maybe a 300+ foot throw in. For a course like this it seems like the players find the format a joke when there are holes that are impossible to score on.
It's because this is "Iron man" match play. All holes are par 3 for the round no matter what it is normally.
@@Mendozer7502 I understand the premise of the format. I'm saying it makes no sense to play this format on a course like this. You can tell the players think its a joke.

These would be a lot better if they just played them with the same rules but normal par. Like par 5's are just dumb.

All pars are changed to par 3 and players gain points based on if the par, birdie, bogey. If someone bogeys two times in a row their points reset.

@@chrisparker7552 i agree, I love the vibe! If you haven't watched any skins matches from otb or jomez, I highly reccomend they have a similar vibe. It is also cool to see James shortly before he became a world champion, he has no idea that he is about to perform the greatest shot in disc golf history!
