Luxon: Hands off Kiwibank!

The National Party is currently taking proposals to Cabinet to part-privatise Kiwibank. The rationale is that it is needed so that Kiwibank can compete with the “highly profitable” offshore-owned banks.
Opponents have raised that privatising Kiwibank will only see it become just like the other banks, sending mega profits offshore. Is there is another way?
