Just watched th I have a 2009 BMW z4 23i RHD. I plan on retro fitting it with cruise control with the use of a new slip ring. Can protool be used to do this coding
@@ot2nie I don`t find that FTM setting from the Cluster settings in Protool !??? Only setting anywhere inside any computer settings related to FTM is under "Chassis menu" and in a "Dsc-stability control settings". In there is a selection "Flat tire Monitor(Not Tpms) Tire puncture warning(RPA)" setting ENABLE/DISABLE.
I'm confused so do I remove the RDC receiver first before opening the app and proceeding with the coding out? OR do I keep the RDC receiver plugged in and proceed with the coding out?
Is there a way to code in low pressure monitoring using the DSC system like in the 2006 E90 model? I heard this is possible via ECS Expert, but when I contacted the BimmerGeeks for help with their ProTool app their responses were confusing and ultimately didn't answer my question. Coding out the asinine TPMS modules because they constantly fail is great, but I still want to know when I have a low tire.
@@ot2nie I'm asking about the flat tire monitor built into e90s that is independent of the TPMS system. It uses wheel rotation speeds over time to determine if one or more is going flat. It's the system that the 2006 model e90 uses because it doesn't have TPMS modules in the tires or an RDC. I'm asking if this app can enable that? VO $265 needs to be added to enable it, whereas VO $2VB needs to be deleted to remove TPMS. Is Pro Tool for Android capable of doing that?
@@TooSoonJunior I haven't, the FTM menu in my iDrive is there but the initialize button is greyed out and I just haven't had the time to figure it out further
I love the zoom in on the phone, very smooth!

What about the airbag light?
my brother excellent video congratulations.
Can you tell me if it works with BWM serie 5 F10 - 523i ano 2012?
thanks.

Not sure, but the app has been updated multiple times.
Check their website for certainty!
Can u code a new transmission control unit (TCM) with protool?
Are you use by Bluetooth or obd 2 cable connection
Great video!
Good morning I have a bmw e87 2012 116i if I just remove the module will the light go off thank you
Yes it will, you have to code it out!
Does this work for a 2016 528i?
after you code out TPMS...does this activate FTM?....can you activate FTM with Protools????
No it doesn't automatically activate FTM but you can do that in the vehicle order with protool.
please where is RDC module in 7 series e 65 ?
Inside the trunk
On the right side on the trunk, on top of the battery. Remove carpet and plastic cover and you will see it.
How would I turn on the flat tire monitoring system?
You can turn it on in the same screen as where you turn the tpms off.
Search for something with ftm!

I’m haveing this problem on my 2010 5 series we’re is the module on the 5 series bro.?
We have the same car and problem 🆘
So at any time do I have to unplug anything besides the battery to code anything else
anytime i mess with anything that has to do with electricals, on any car, i disconnect the battery before hand.
Does the android device have to be in airplane mode when coding, data logging, and or diagnosing?
@@ot2nie I know with MHD it's recommended. I didnt see anything with Protool.
@@ot2nie it will be my first time using Protool. I need it to code injectors at the moment. Then I'll look into other coding options.

@@ot2nie awesome, thanks!
Did you get an answer?
I’m not sure if I’m any help now but maybe to someone wondering, you should disconnect the RDC module first!
Do we replug the module after everything is done?
Nice thanks
Can you also activate the flat tire mode?
Yes, there’s a parameter in the same list that says FTM, you should activate that!

No sir, you need the xHP flashtool!
You can flash xhp with the same cable from bimmergeaks
Hey man , moet ik de rdc eruit halen en dan via de app uitschakelen ? En dzn erna eruit laten ook de rdc ? Thanks man !
Volgorde maakt niks uit, gewoon loshalen en uitcoderen en that’s it!

@@Brasco1080 ja!
can you use pro tool for many cars as I want, or only one car?
As many cars as you want. Worth the money
Ok
To use protool ppl need to know that they need the 49 dollar OBD adapter and 74 dollars for the coding license. so is not free
Did i say it’s free?😅
Doing that could kill you, but who cares!😂
What about the airbag and seatbelt light?
