    Hi very well explained.
All your tips are very useful n handy.
Even though m a self taught baker from past four years, there were few points that even i didn't know. Had those questions from so many years but never got satisfied answers to them. After watching your video all my queries r now gone.
    I have two queries though..
One, i have heard many bakers saying keep your cake tin covered with aluminum foil while baking to get flat surface. Is this true??
If yes, then its not dangerous to use it while baking??
Second, some says keep one bowl of water beside cake tin while baking to keep your cake soft n moist. Again, is it true??
If yes, can you please explain n if possible show it in your videos.
    Thank you. Tc

Hi Divya, Thank you so much for the lovely words. I am glad you liked the video :)) Regarding your queries, here is my reply:
      1) If you prefer a flat top, i would recommend you try the method mentioned in the video, instead of aluminium foil. If at all you want to cover the tin, go for any greased aluminium cover.
      2) Keeping a bowl of water will work for cheesecakes or puddings. Again for soft edges, same method applies as flat top :))

Vegetarian Tastebuds yes I was curious to know when we add milk and soda water , or , milkmaid and technically how it helps

@@vidhun1960 Soda water acts as a rising agent and when it comes in contact with baking soda, it makes the cake soft and spongy.
Milkmaid is used as an egg replacer
In any recipe, you can add either milk/water as liquid. Adding milk makes the cake more rich. Hope this answers your query :)))
