Just finished the anime and is absolute cinema. I hope the make a season 2 to flesh out more the conflict with the aliens. Oh and this song is so freaking hypeee
I personally think that the anime ended on a perfect note. Yeah, a lot of it is left up to interpretation as to what happens after, but the show did an amazing job showing, and not telling. Particularly I am talking about the one 5 second scene in the final episode that shows the nean shoving the one dude who pushed him, and nothing happening to him. All that scene did was show that the shackles that were around all of the nean's feet that were holding them back were now gone and they could now fight for their freedom without being shut down. Yeah, you could take another season to show the neans fighting against their enslavers, but rouge's story *is* over, and I personally think it's more fun to just imagine for yourself whatever ending for the neans you see fit.
it felt rushed, until the last three episodes, then it went absolutely off the fucking rails, it had so much potential, idk why they cut the amount of episodes, this show could’ve absolutely won anime of the year if it wasn’t rushed
Even though the actual opening of Metallic Rouge is good in its own right, I cant help but feel the creators chose poorly for NOT choosing this as the actual opening song and relegating it to background music. It has so much more character and a very unique identity with some of the hardest beat that you just cant find in any other anime. Such a good song deserves to be iconic in its own right, and it hasnt been able to do that as its been only used so far (up to ep 8) as background music to some very stunning, yet distacting, fights scenes that are visual feasts in and of themselves. The worst part is that every fight scene with this also uses a different variation of the song which, in my opinion, just detracts from how good the complete original is. The song is absolutely great, but the creators dont know how to use it to its full potential. Such an absolute shame, this song deserved so much better.
You seem to underestimate the power of background music. It can make or break a scene, and the other version of this song absolutely breaths life into the combat and the world in a way it never could if it were used as a simple opener. This version will have the benefits of being fresh and new, but will also benefit from the buildup the other version has done to establish the motifs. The creators are probably planning to use it for an important scene down the line. Regardless, using the other version of this song to complement it is part of what makes it so special. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Considering the impact the lines "The moment has arrived for fighting, there is no escape or hiding" has, every time a battle is inevitably at hand... I disagree that it was misused. It could have made an awesome opening theme for sure, but it works beautifully as a fighting theme too. Especially when a recurring theme of the series is how the conflict is unavoidable, even when the MC doesnt want to keep on fighting, there is no other choice but to strike like a lightning.
@@zettovii1367this guy gets it! When the “THERE IS NO ESCAPE OR HIDING/SHATTERED BY THE CRIMSON LIGHTNING” hits, you know some epic shit is about to go down.

When someone says "boss fight music starts playing" but you're the boss
metallic rouge WITHOUT FUCKING QUESTION has the best soundtrack* of the season
I also love it but Frieren also has superb music
Taisei Iwasaki never misses
@@oneshotyuri i meeeeeeean ....... u arent wrong lol. proved it ONCE again too with Mrouge
Kaiju no 8 has a tiny bit better soundtrack
@@snoopyvsme even if that's true, they said of the season (which was Winter). Kaiju No 8 is a Spring season show. So still the best
I appreciate that the crunchyroll upload had typos in the text and this doesn't lol
I was expecting the correct typo in this one and they did fix the typo error!
what's typo@@fantastiCkiLler92 ??
What type did the Crunchyroll video have?
@@r.a.3829 1:57 mement was the word
@@brianaguilar5204 There's also two in the second phrase, crunchyroll's vid has "darkess" and "shatterd" also it says "red and wiaiting"
This will most definitely be played during the final confrontation
This is literally playing every fight lol
I know, but I meant the song in its entirety@@Gonzz123
Awesome soundtrack!
This song makes me want to solo an entire army
This song was a banger
Iwasaki is so incredibly goated
Man this music and this film clip really makes the anime look way cooler than it actually is.
Love the song though, definitely a gym playlist add.
This is a hidden jem a diamond in the rough if you call it damn this is badass
0:53 Why just by undress the coat, she looks so stunning
The episode where they were chased by a Cylinder head thats when they dropped this theme
This song and video were done very well, and a great song!
This anime is good. I cant even tell if Rouge is the good or bad guy yet. Time will tell
Just finished the anime and is absolute cinema. I hope the make a season 2 to flesh out more the conflict with the aliens. Oh and this song is so freaking hypeee
the missing potential of the anime could definitely can be fixed with a season, it can be saved

Neh it becomes shit in last third and since anime flopped extremely hard there is no way there will be S2

I love this song! But one thing gets me: why does the lyric say "with my blade of crimson lightning". Her blade is green right? :/
I think it's meant to be that she herself is the blade of crimson lighting
nah but it turns red when it slices up the baddies, you see?
the anime could be uncomparably better if it wasnt insanely rushed, everything about this anime is good even if its 13 eps crammed into each other
Fucking for real, I can't get past the 5th episode because shit just gets so fucking confusing so fucking quickly
And I really want to love it because the concept the music and the visuals are insane
it felt rushed, until the last three episodes, then it went absolutely off the fucking rails, it had so much potential, idk why they cut the amount of episodes, this show could’ve absolutely won anime of the year if it wasn’t rushed
nice
No vi el anime pero esta canción es epiquísima

Una canción increíble para un anime que tenía potencial pero no lo aprovechó...
This song was amazing, the anime though was meh
One of the most disappointing animes I’ve seen so far in 2024 right next to Ninja Kamui
It's such a shame the anime was so bad
шикарно, еще бы мужик на фоне не пел
Song was good but anime wasn't good at all imo
the anime was carried but the smooth animation and amazing soundtrack
