- Ipswich Town are one point away from a potential return to the Premier League after defeating Coventry 2-1 at the CBS last night. If Ipswich get any kind of positive result on Saturday at home to Huddersfield Town they will be up, that's also the case if Leeds don't beat Southampton at Elland Road.

Congrats Ben. It's absolutely well deserved and if anyone had to finish 2nd above Leeds, I'm glad its the team supported by such a nice guy as yourself. There were times when I thought Leeds might have done it, but in the end the better team finished 2nd. Particularly impressive coming from League 1 last season and given the resources available to the club. As a Leeds fan, I know the decades of hurt you will have suffered and the angst your fan base will have felt about the potential Norwich game in the playoffs - so all I can say is, enjoy the Premier League, take it as it comes and you may even surprise a few people! Enjoy.

When we got promoted last year (Plymouth) and saw your videos with Ipswich as your team, I was stoked! And excited to see how we would fair. Great video Ben as always. Like you, was an absolute emotional wreck last night watching that game (especially with 11 minutes added time). Think you are spot on with your assessment, strange things happen, but we can only dare to dream now. I was there last season on that euphoric game against Exeter and would love to have that again Saturday. Appreciate your 'leave your bias at the door' mentality and respect for not doing the watch along, fans really appreciate people who stick to their mantra and values. I'm a Leeds fan, well accustomed to heartbreak and disappointment. Extremely frustrated that we pulled off a 90 point tally and didn't get promoted. But to lose out to you boys hurts less. A great team with a great coach, what a story, best of luck in the prem!

I don't think anyone would begrudge you doing a watch along and celebrating like a mad man when Ipswich score, especially given how close they are to the prem now. I certainly couldn't do it with Bristol City even in a game that doesn't mean anything, I still couldn't contain my emotions.
Ben you can be bias in this situation, Ipswich is your team and you are on the verge of something you haven't had the pleasure of ,that's winning games of football and now you are on the verge. I'm a Norwich fan and I predicted you would do a double promotion to the young Ipswich fan at work last year, he is 20 years old and has never seen his team in the prem . I know just how good that feeling is 💚💛 especially for provisional teams like ours and I'm pleased for him and my country cousins,you really do deserve it. Plus as for years every time Norwich beat Ipswich I but the workshop sausage rolls , this morning I had my first ever sausage roll from a Ipswich fan , and he has promised to raise it to a steak bake on Monday if (and you will) finish the job .

At least you guys will be able to celebrate together which we were not due to some global pandemic thing 🙂It's been a colossal and a historic battle for 9 months and the best teams won out in the end. i'm delighted for you and I'm a Leeds fan. I was down on Tuesday. I did feel having Leeds play on Monday and Friday was unfair and Ipswich getting 17 days res,t but you deserved it . I think the welsh losing on penalties had a big affect on Leeds. We were to play Middlesbro away on Saturday and it was switched by sky to Monday and then our Saturday game was brought forward to Friday by Sky. Leaving Leeds with one game and Ipswich with three. Both away games. Leaving you playing hull and then Coventry with nothing to play for..But Ipswich were great this season and the very best of luck to you. On behalf of most Sheffield United fans. We've suffered a terrible season, it's reminded me of the lock down season where football hasn't been as we know it. Blades have almost had a season out, away from football and we start again next season. However the one shining light is we're so pleased that your team looks like being promoted to the promised land. Even when your team went down to league 1 you still stayed true and enthusiastic about your team, so pleased for you. I'll be watching your result on Saturday and hope you do it, especially as it's at the expense of Leeds, would be funny to see them blow it after reaching 90ish points.

2 decades of dross made it easy to accept a loss, or even a win. Like you said. KM and this team makes it impossible to not show bias at this point of the season. This last week, maybe even month with all the others playing and us just watching, has been mentally and physically exhausting. But I'm glad to have been a part of it travelling all over with my lad and "enjoying" those emotions. Saturday I'll be a wreck, but 2 decades of hurt have entitled me to feel this way. The minute we had Hirst and burns back, the break was confirmed as advantageous. Regardless of others results.... we play our season one game st a time, and a delay meant recovery.

I could have gone in the home end at Hull or at Coventry... but didn't. The reasoning basically boils down to the fact there's so much at stake, we're so close to the line, I don't think I'd be able to plausibly blend in. Not from celebrating goals, I could prob hold that in, but from the tension... I was also a wreck, esp for the last 10 mins last night, even watching from home.

The fans were nervous at Coventry but not the players. And l think the three draws were against good teams who played well, as did the Sky Blues incidentally. Town had their best spell after the Coventry equaliser
Heartbreaking as I really thought we were in a new era of Leeds united breaking records and then reality hit and we went back to usual Leeds. I am frightened of the play offs in our form right now. Well done to Ipswich what a double promotion they will have achieved.

I seem to remember a couple of years ago, on a run in, that Huddersfield got a result that helped Leeds .we called them the carrier bags, cause of their colours..I don't think they can do it now
