      Thanks for the reminder. I do need to make more content around this machine. I love it. It's such a work horse.

    Nice machine, and thanks for sharing! I have mostly Lincon machines, but I bought Fronius machine that has an arc control feature that welds Aluminum fabulously. Think Lincoln has some catching up to these machines. But most of these new welders have some awesome features! Think Lincoln and Miller have some serious competition out there. Especially on price!

    Hey was hoping you are still going to make more videos of the 253dpi. I bought the 251si thinking i could use it for single pulse vertical spray arc. I have had zero success with that... before buying the dpi id like to see someone actually do it first.

      maybe I can get to that after Blade Show this year. I've got a couple weeks to get every ready for that but after that I'll have more time for videos. :)

    I use 98% Argon with 2% Oxygen for spray on .045” mild steel wire. I agree that gas is hard to figure out and it’s not talked about as much. I think you can use 90/C10 as well.

      I think the manual said I could also use a 100% Argon but nobody else in the industry has really said that. I do have a tank of a 100% Argon that I might try out just for the heck of it. It's what my tig welder uses

    I will be welding alot of 'out of position' welding on steel of 1/2" to 3/4" thick. I am about to purchase this machine but on the wire selection, with this machine would ou use the 'Lincoln UltraCore® 71A75 Dual Flux-Cored Gas-Shielded (FCAW-G) | ED031669' and can that wire be used with 75/25 gas mixture? Thank you and I really enjoy your videos!!

      if you're going to be doing a lot of 1/2" to 3/4" you might want to consider the next size up in this same family. :) Here is a link for all the same options but with more power. bit.ly/4aS3nBS

      For spray welding (pulse and dual pulse) I run 90/10 and basic Er70S-6 mig wire.

    • @waf8607
      @waf8607 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BecksArmory can that wire be used for welding uphill and downhill?

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@waf8607 yeah, the pulsing if set correctly it will freeze the puddle when welding uphill. I don't do a lot of up hill welding so i have not dialed in the perfect settings for it yet for each thickness. You just set the high voltage level, the low level voltage, and what % of each cycle is high voltage. You can also change the total time length of a cycle to match your welding speed. So in a 1 second pulse you can be at high power for .4 seconds and low power for .6 seconds. or you can turn up the high level and its time down to .2 seconds and the low power to .8 seconds. it's all totally tunable.

    What is the pedal. You planning on TIG welding with it..

      Pretty sure there is no pedal... It's a mig welder...

      @@BecksArmory Yea, about 15:10 the foot pedal is mentioned but I misunderstood , it WAS a TIG welder talked about, my bad.

      @@rich1953 Yes, If you buy a Tig welder from Everlast and you click my link (in the video description) to get to their website you'll get the "nova" tig pedal. If you go to their site without using my link than you'll get whatever pedal it comes with.
