I love that you didn’t just remake the video from scratch when you ran into problems with the crushed coral, you used it to teach us. Thank you! Amazing as always.

I'm pretty new to your channel and have gone back and watched a lot of your older videos. You're the only TH-camr, no matter the content, that I genuinely look forward to seeing new videos from. I've yet to come across a tank of yours that hasn't blown me away. I've seen some amazing tanks, both on TH-cam and in real life, but those always seemed like the person was trying to blow people away. Yours seem not only doable, but something you make to make you happy not to wow people. You just happen to always get the "wow factor" even with the simplest of setups. You actually make me feel like I can do these things in my tank. I just need a lot more patience than what I've been having.
    Keep up the amazing work.

I do this for most all my tanks. The only difference is I use fish bowl bottom filters or home made egg crate under gravel filters in the bowl to not only keep nutrients flowing to the roots but it is also the only thing filtering the tank. Then you can move them around from tank to tank in seconds without disturbing roots. 5 or 6 6"pots filters a 75 gallon tank great!

Don’t care if it doesn’t work but I also use substrate and lots of stones in helping cycle new tanks. When I plant pots inside my tank I flood them first and wait until settled, them send them down into the tank. I hold the soil down with gravel first and top it off with sand.

In case you wanted to play with a new idea :P
