I don't often get excited about software updates but I can't wait to give these dyna-cabs a go. Seems like a way more intuitive way to dial a quick sound.
Great! ATM though, I'm finding the Dynacabs do not sound anywhere near as good as the legacy IR's I use. cant even get close none of them have the definition or high sparkle I'm used too, they are msostly all a bit dull even with Mic bang in middle.
Thanks for watching! Everything you are hearing guitar-wise is going direct to my interface, with no channel processing so it's all the Fractal. Fractal into interface (stereo) and Mic into interface. I'm monitoring through Presonus eris e5s and QSC k10s to dial in tones. I have a sub mix going into OBS to capture video and my audio mix all in one.
Hi Matthew. This is so much easier to dial in than the legacy cabs. I hope they do the same kind of organization with the amps: instead of having Revv amp as six amps they should put all of them into only one and add switches to change the channels.
Yes this would be really nice. Helix has that going on within the amp models. I’d really like to see the amp channels switchable on certain models (tucana, ODS, Archon, etc) without using a separate block channel as well.
Great video your playing is amazing. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t see the a big leap forward with Dyna Cabs in that I’m chasing to sound I get from YA impulses with limited success, might as well stay with what I’m using. I followed your video and taking into account different guitars etc it didn’t sound as good as yours.
It is accessible in the front panel! Only you would use knobs for the position and distance rather thank a click and drag of a mouse but it’s all there. Using the block library is editor only though.
Are there certain amps that work best with dyna cab? It sounds too bright to me so far...I just messed with it for the first time last nite...so I guess I need to just mess with it
It’s not necessary. That’s the input mode, so if you want the block to take a stereo signal on the input side then you would charge that. Otherwise it will always output in stereo when you pan.
I wouldn't say change the game. There has been plenty of companies doing this already. Plus to be honest they don't really sound that good. Love Fractal though.
Now we need this for the FM9!
Yes please!
I’m ready!
Beta is out now for it!

Great tutorial. No woffle, clear, concise and straight to the point as always. Big thanks.
Thanks so much!
thanks for the blocks library

Thanks for your tutorials. I'm new to Fractual and like to know what is your setup when you do these videos, great sound.

Nice axe bro! I just got my first PRS and I'm in awe every note!
Rock on!
Thank you brother 🙏🙏🙏
Nice vid, very well explained and demonstrated.
Hiho, cool video. I updated too. But my list of the dynacabs ist emty. Do you have an idea what I can do?. Thanx and nice greets.
Installing the dyna-cabs is separate from the firmware so you need to use fractal-bot to load the dynamic-cab sysex file.
@@mathew_dale Thanx. I did. I had to refresh after firmwareupdate by settings in the editor. And it worked. Thanx and nice greets.
Ah, good deal!
@@mathew_dale Yeah, the support from g66 gave me the tipp, and it worked ;)

will all this be accessible just using the front panel or is it axe edit only? great vid showing all the new features 👍🙏❤

Just got an oversized recto cab before they released this feature lol.
No problem with using both!
Nice!
It sounds like you have some kind of modulation effect on, like a phaser.

great!
Dynamic mics don't exhibit more proximity effect than condensers.
When you have them hard Pan shouldn't you want your cab block to be in stereo

what is a dyna cab?
