M4 gts is such a great car from the box and very rare that not much need to be done to it. Way more interesting to see how you make from 💩 to a 🍬 than from 🍬 to 🍭

Is there a reason why you have a pump gas and ethanol blend tune? I thought the 1st gen b58 have flex fuel support now.

I’ve been waiting for your input like this and it definitely answered so many of my questions, I do have one more if anyone could help me out… is xdrive worth it for the money if your talking about cornering and acceleration over the rwd? I’m coming from a focus st and there’s a 3k difference that I’ve seen for awd over rwd so I guess my question is will xdrive give you a distance advantage or is there give and take with both?
I have the AWD f30 340i and I love it. Its great for me because I live in the midwest and the weather can be unpredictable. I would def go xDrive if you have any weather concerns. However, you're gonna have powertrain loss.

Any trans issues so far? I blew mine with a Pure 800 on 94+meth, I have a replacement from a 2019 going in on Monday.

I'm still salty that you sold this thing, I was really loving the content. The 135i fills the void but not quite as much as the 340i did.
Now with xD injectors, theres not much need for port injection.

Hey Jon, awesome video. I love the 340 platform but I wanted to know if someone has a B48 330 like your friend, how much power can they get out of a B46/B48 with all the power modifications you suggested.
Full bolt ons and a stage 2 tune will put you at around 300-310hp. The car will feel similar to a stock b58 340

i think from what i remember it was a relatively low mileage engine i think it was around 10k ish he said it was from a newer car that crashed
I’m planning on getting a 2016 340i xDrive soon and thinking of adding bootmod tune to simply have power in driving it everyday especially on overtaking and going up the mountains during winter. Is there any other performance mods i should consider after this?
Basic bolt ons, exhaust, Downpipes and intake will help flow and efficiency
Would you suggest in lowering it esp using it in winter as it’s on xdrive platform?
@@nickreal4122 stock ride height definitely leaves a lot to be desired but there’s multiple options like springs that don’t lower it much and coils so you can adjust once winter gets there, idk what kind of winter weather you have though
How reliable is the 340i? is it expensive to maintain looking at 340i or m240i? But not sure of the reliability I know it has b58 but have you had to put money into any other parts?

Yea, b58 is regarded as super reliable, lots of OTS tunes for it on 93 as well as E blends 30-60. Charge pipe doesn’t even have to be upgraded

when he got it it was at around 2k i think, not sure what its at now but it's probably not over 5-6k

Hey guys can anyone held me decide what will be most reliable. B9 Audi s4 stage 3 tte710 turbo orr b58 gen1 340i go doc racing single turbo run medium to low boost 500-600hp
1 year later haha but I say go for the b58 because of the reliability/ capability and as far as Audi I’d say go with the b8.5 s4 ! Overall go for the b58 !

I changed my boost solenoid 3 times because my 2011 BMW 335i coupe keeps cutting out under full throttle and sometimes it’ll throw me into stupid mode as well. PLEASE HELP HELP HELP. I am sooooo frustrated and overwhelmed with this I had a BMW master tech look at it for months and he couldn’t figure it out!!! Im on MHD Stage 2+ with 93 octane pump gas only with full bolt ons and either a stock turbo or vargas level one or vargas level 2 turbo, the previous owner couldn’t prove to me that he swapped the turbo so I think its stock. GOD HELP ME im so close to ditching this piece of shit and driving it into a wall!!!!
