@@mickirbs. I thought of that as well when I first heard it hahaha I send that song to a friend and said "I don't know how you can do a metal version of that" and I said "challenge accepted" xD
Your rhythm guitars sound absolutely amazing... so rich and creamy with plenty of high end crispity yummys!!! This one made me feel a little emotional.
@@CaptainPantys thank you! I was really concerned about my rhythm and lead guitar tone in the past cover but I changed it a lot for this one and I'm really happy with the resut, I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
@@LennyChaRz I love it! I can't really remember what bands use that "philosophy of tone" but you absolutely nailed it. I kind of want to ask you what amp you used but I also love noodelling and discovering lol
@@CaptainPantys right now I use the valeton GP200 modeler for my guitar tones, but you can use whatever pluing or vst of your choice, is all about chosing a good IR and dialing in the eq of the amp, also, I hate that fizziness around 4k to 6k so I cut around 2 to 3 decibels of gain so the high end doesn't get that harsh, don't be afraid to do extreme changes, it's all about following your ears, I used an emulation of a Mesa dual rectifier in the modern mode with a free IR I found I don't remember where xD
@@LennyChaRz Hell yeah dude! Ya I effectively quit music for a year. I celebrated my return with a new cover and I'm making a whole new batch of tones. I'm working with a line 6 pod hd x right now for yuckles. I will for sure apply what you said!
