meejmuse my rib cage hurts whenever I lay down on the bed during 3rd trimester, Eventually it went away. During my 2nd pregnancy, it’s true that contraction comes a lot faster! I’m glad I got to hospital on time and can still take epidural. Breast milk comes a lot faster after first pregnancy too

oooh, I remember watching a video where you said you have a flat head with no volume because of the sleeping position you were placed as in infant. I believe you were wearing a poof comb pillow for extra volume. Just a reminder to switch up baby Leo's head position so he gets the extra voluminous hair. Damn baby Leo is gonna have such good skin when he grows older from other the belly skincare you gave him lol. He's such a lucky baby to have you as his mother. I can't wait for the day he reacts to all these videos about him. ilyssm

@@recreatingcontents5795 That's actually not recommended unless you are directly supervising the baby. And I mean not looking away. Because it greatly increases risk of SIDS.

My ribs expanded during both my pregnancies but they shrank back afterwards! Same with my feet. I went up a half size which I was excited for because my feet are so small it’s hard to find shoes but they completely shrank back afterwards 😅 There’s a huge range of experiences for everyone which is so surprising!

If I ever get pregnant I’m gonna come back to this video. I love your advice and tips, but most of all your words of encouragement. I do believe pregnant women get so many information thrown at them, that is super scary, so having calming worlds of encouragement is very lovely. Btw Leo is absolutely gorgeous omg! He is divine 😍 chubby little angel ❤️

I sang Jesus Loves Me to my son as well! When he was in the womb, my daughter and I always sang it not just to him but to her as well. It's one of her favorites. From birth to now (he's almost 7 months), it's the only song that soothes him. He immediately stops crying when I start singing him the song.

Hi Jen, I am so happy to see that you will be going on Shopee! See you there on 23rd as Treasell! My son would cry and party at the hospital nursery, the nurses not knowing what else they can do for him especially in the night as all other babies were sleeping, they moved his cart into my room thinking he must be hungry but as soon as he entered my hospital room, the crying stopped. It must have been the smell of mummy lol. U can literally hear him crying before the room door opened and the immediate silence when the door opened.

Love my son but pregnancy and motherhood isn’t that great tbh... people hyped it up way too much until I actually went through it and I ended up suffering through prenatal depression from the shock of just how horrible pregnancy can be. Was not prepared for it at all

Totally unscientific but I had glowy skin and little morning sickness when carrying my son. But with my daughter, I ate so much looked bloated and ugly. My friends who had daughters too looked out of it. Apparently it’s a belief that your daughter takes your beauty during pregnancy and now I have a beautiful daughter. So believe it or not!

It’s hormones actually ;) Baby-daughter gives you 2 times the ‘female’ hormones (hers and your own), when as baby-boy is believed to “balance out” the unstable hormonal situation... Maybe this makes sense

Stretch marks are an issue with the connective tissue underneath the skin, not with the skin. Nothing you can do topically is going to help as connective tissue just doesn't do well with regenerating.

It hurts some people’s lady parts when you sit. Extra pressure from the excess blood and wait can be uncomfortable, especially if your placenta attaches low. Have a pillow handy to sit on if you have to sit on a hard chair.

So fun to hear i second many, sleep, stretch mark, peeing...
    But personally
    1. I didn't need new clothes, I got 2 pants only 😂 and some support belts.
    2. I had to sleep on my back it was the only comfortable position 😂 I asked my midwife and she was like if that's what you want don't worry about what people/blogs/texts say.
    3. I craved eggs, avocado and red meat throughout my pregnancy, I even cried if I hadn't had red meat during the day 🤣
    4. Compression socks were by best friends from week 20 until post partum 7 weeks.
    5. When water breaks it's not a glass of water like on TV.. It's more like Niagara falls!!
    6. Some doesn't get a stomach. I didn't tell many because I was anxious.. At week 27 I told colleagues they all were like no way! You don't even show! Around 30-31 it started to show.
It's so much fun how similar it can be but also so different. Beauty of life and interesting choice God make for us.

My husband and I were given less than 1% chance of falling pregnant naturally. We struggled for 6 years to have kids and after just WAY too many tears & 4 miscarriages & too much drama & 5 rounds of IVF, I finally fell pregnant with my twins... aaaand it was an AWFUL pregnancy, but twins in the end. 2 years later I fell pregnant with my little girl... aaaand it was hellish. I got hyperemesis, I had to be admitted a few times, I couldn't have ivs placed easily because I was so dehydrated, I got such severe heartburn I was on meds for it for the entire pregnancy, I had UNBELIEVABLE round ligament pain that by the end of the preg I could barely walk, I got infections about twice a month for the entire preg and so on and so forth. Oh and when the c-sec was being performed, the dr had to try and place the epidural 4 times - turns out it didn't work... felt the whole blessed event!
    Irony.

Sounds like you had a really good pregnancy, lucky you. I lost a lot of weight during pregnancy and had severe food aversions. It was so hard to eat anything even tho u felt starving all the time. I also vomited up to 20 times a day every single day. Pregnancy was so rough for me, I remember crying daily. I also had no “pregnancy glow” my skin was full of acne and I think my skin looked the worst it’s ever been... family members would see me and all comment on how bad it was.

What is a good age to have a baby? I’m 25 now. Is 30 too late?

Not at all! I have many friends having babies at 40. The younger, the easier the recovery though (and less risks) 🙏
