  • The new RIDGID 18V 3/4" Impact Wrench delivers quite the blow on our torque test rig. We took it well beyond the stated 1,300 ft-lbs of breakaway torque. You get 4 modes, including an Auto mode that stops the tool when it senses that the bolt is tight, or when it's loose. These are available now for $279 for the bare tool. #homedepot #tools #impactwrench

      Always has been honestly.

@@mattek519 And then they step it back to be below Milwaukee where it should be. I'm not really a fan of multiple brands from one mother brand. I'm getting the idea of different price points but still Ryobi has to be below the Rigid and the Rigid has to be below the Milwaukee, only in rare cases you are getting that lower brand outperforming "better" brand in the same family most likely due to fact that the main brand doesn't care about that tool whatsoever. If you are stuck in one brand of that brand family and it happens to be the lower one you will never likely experience that brand to be the champ and for that reason it is better to choose the best one if you can afford it or just choose different brand outside of that family that has one lineup and can do whatever it wants.

@bleyz3557 they don't have to be below Milwaukee at all. Ridgid isn't owned by TTI like Milwaukee and ryobi are. They are owned by Emerson and TTI has to make what Emerson wants them to make. That's why many current ridgid tools are better than the Milwaukee counterparts and that's why many tools like the hydrolic impact driver came from ridgid first.

Well what i like is its ability to just chew through 1200-1300ftlb nuts and bolts. Realistically over 1600 id be on a 1 inch dhandle anyways

This was an impressive display of brute force. Over delivering can't be overstated, on jobsite, on the side of road, out on trails where your 'rig-broke-some'um-big', or on the battle field.😎 When you pull out a RIDGID power tool, no one thinks you're a rookie, they think you've made a choice, just as if it were any other of bigger tool brands.🤠 It's mindset that RIDGID's carefully cultivated, and something other "don't want to be just a DIY tool" makers are following. I'd point SKIL out as an example.
My advice to RIDGID is to 'kit' this tool up with a fast charger and big bad battery, one that's more than enough to have this tool operated to it's full potential.

That's right I got all Rigid impacts and I went on and got 2 of them each for total of 8. I Love My Rigid 86211B it's a True Monster. But the little
Big Brother 86212 She's a Beast. But She's needs more power. Rigid this would increase your sales.

Is this the same tool as the 1/2 inch just with a different anvil or does it have any other different components? The fact that this took off a nut at 2300 ftlbs and the monster DeWalt 961 only got 2600 makes this tool pretty impressive, especially for the price.

I don't know how many times it needs to be proven..... the evidence is stacked for days.
Ridgid is a top tier professional grade tool brand with quality, power and longevity equal to if not superior to Milwaukee.
As it's owned by Emerson, TTI technically has to respect Emersons wishes when it comes to the tools they manufacture under their name.
