I've had a VIO-17 for three years now, and it is perfect for general landscape work. I have a 12',18" and a 36" for loading a dumper. You will love it!
Can I ask is it easy to set up an excavating business up in the USA? Any crazy hoops you have to jump through? That's a beauty of a machine...I used a 1.7 ton machine recently, I think it had a 2-1/2' clean up bucket which was awesome...I was so impressed with working tight quarters with that size machine. Whats a rough price for a unit like that in the states? I'm a Canadian looking at starting a business in USA and need to invest 70 to 100k for a visa. Thx for any advice!
I don’t really have an excavation business just a general construction biz. I just bought this to use for my typical jobs such as paver patios, redoing driveways, remodeling, etc. This machine is in the low 30’s. Depending on the state you are in would determine the laws for licensing for your business. Here in TN i would just think a typical business license and proper insurances would be sufficient.
