It was my 10th class project actually. We had a full solar plant for various purposes at our engineering college too. Water heater, street lamps, Solar cooker with concave mirror etc making the college self dependent for campus area during night. Also in the company where I work, it has whole roof covered with solar panel at each station reducing the cost of electricity consumption for lighting and computers.

That's the point where the cooking pot must be placed. The mirror should be large enough such that it can collect as much sunlight as possible and the focal length should be small enough to make small hot spot in image point.

Good fir environment is half truth . Nobody is looking at the lithium cells used in solar panel . It is highly toxic and desposing off old solar panels is headache as it will continue to release toxic material .

The equipment should be automated in such a way that it automatically moves towards the side where the sun rays are maximum which will save the time and efforts..
Cost will be increased then
it will cost nearly equal to the mechanism used to move the dish antenna at isro using automated motor. Not worth the effort and cost. keep it as simple as possible.

In real life it's impossible to use for normal people. Where can we keep this ?? On terrace ?? Great innovation though. We need more people like him. Slowly one day we will develop small portable version of it
small version would produce much less heat. Larger the area of reflective surface, more heat generated. It will work only in open areas with less of surrounding buildings.

- one time investment for many years
ALTERNATIVE source when the solar cooker not working or at NIGHT, we can use electric gas stoves (converting electric energy to heat energy same as iron press 😁) in this also no use of chemicals
Disadvantages
- Won't work in foggy weather and rainy season
And it's manually operate able
- won't work at night because no sun rays
- Takes time to produce heat
- Less compact able
- Only working in open ares where the sun rays - comes perfectly
- Sometimes cloud comes over the sun so the rays won't coming continuosly heat will not generate sufficiently

Good fir environment is half truth . Nobody is looking at the lithium cells used in solar panel . It is highly toxic and desposing off old solar panels is headache as it will continue to release toxic material .
