If all he doing is cutting it into squares, apart from the outer edge. He may as well just cut squares and adjust the ones on the outer edge. I feel he's over complicating the set up here.
I see two problems here: - Cutting off a circle out of a mirror to then cut off squares is unnecessary and wasteful, it would be much better to just cut a bunch of squares that totals the same area as the dish - Even if the dish itself doesn't heat that much, I would not recommend using hot glue. Just use epoxy
you can see that towards the end they deviated from the supposed placement anyway, since the square flat pieces cannot go on a spherical surface while maintaining their order

They could setup the shipping cloth to double as installation guide with a bit of sicky product on the mirror side so you can break it to form and and install it like mosaic tile sheets but inverted.
Turning the mirror to squares is tricky and takes practice. I tried it, while trying to re-size a garage sale mirror, and even with the kit I got a jagged edge or broken section repeatedly.
If the center Post had a swivel hinge that could be pivoted with an extension arm it would be much easier to maneuver whatever is being cooked without having a person being burned.

This is good for the areas with lesser availability of energy. otherwise, it is not convenient to keep changing its position with the sun to cook food or stand in hot summers under sun for cooking, but good product for camping as well
this system is fit for these restaurants that cook these stew meals, which usually cost much time to cook. The trouble is that we need to upgrade this system to carry the huge cooking pot.

Nice idea, but quite laborious. They might as well make the dish reflective using the CSM coating method, which is relatively inexpensive.

Good point even if I'm not sure about why hot glue is a problem if the dish is kept cool by the mirrors

hot glue needs 100 - 120 celsius to melt.

This is great instrument for cooking but also dangerous. Because anyone can burn or loss eye if your face come into the middle point
Same applies for camp fires and I've yet to hear about anyone losing sight this way. I do see an issue with strong lasers though.

Hot glue seems to be a poor choice of adhesive for something that will be in reflecting the sun.
