Their score was suppressed in short program. They are far more better than the other Russian pairs in short dance. Should have lead at least 2-3 points.
I agree, but the Russians are forever going to be overscored.

@@mingan3781i think it’s extremely obvious the influence the russian federation has on the ISU. those girls have horrendous technique and it never gets called and their components scores are massively inflated considering, according to Zhenya herself, they don’t even do edge classes. kamila was getting scores for complex transitions while she was just doing an extension. they are in no way subtle. see how the only one punished in the doping scandal was the child and not any of the people in power around her? they all managed to get off unscathed? very lucky…
They are totally brilliant in every way.
After watching this, I decided to watch the whole Short Program ..... SUI and HAN was the only pair who could make me glide in my sofa! Ha! ha! ha! Their every movements rhymed so well with the music. Thumbs up to their choreographer, Lori Nichol.

@@deedledave9826 different technique level, Sui&Han’s routine was much more harder but each part connected more smoother.
@@nzlucy9096 agree, side by side triples, throw triple, and the triple twist that is done now looks harder than what was done during before because the female is completely parallel to male, whereas in the 80s and 90s the female was thrown basically upright

The height, distance and posture of their jumps are wonderful. Personally I think their short program is tidier than the free program. Congratulations to them for the gold.

What a legendary performance. With so much emotion and passion, it's far above the so-called figure skating. They did it to a totally different level. They redefined what a true figure skating is. I just can't help watching their videos over and over again. I suggest that people watch different videos of this channel to appreciate from different angles of their performance.
This, the free program and then what they did on Gala, all combined, makes them winners for me.

Yes I always enjoyed watching couple figure skating. The choreography, the grace and connection they have on the ice, but it never gave much of excitement. This performance really drew every bit of my attention and my heart started beating faster when fully indulging myself into the passion, tension and emotion they delivered. This performance is perfect in every way
LOVE this short programme. My favourite short programme of theirs in a few years.
The music could quite easily come across as noisy, but they (and especially Sui) really SELL it. I love when she can play a fiery character on the ice.

@@piedpiper8539 Вы не правы, очень многие, разговаривающие на русском эту пару любят и уважают. Просто не все пишут комментарии. Да и от их произвольной в дикий восторг не пришла, поэтому под соответствующим видео ничего и не писала. А вот короткая - программа победителей. И по эмоциям, и по технике, и по хореографии. Здесь всё слилось. Уже и не знаю, сколько раз посмотрела!

I think they were a little bit nervous at final ,especially Sui.
Same. I feel like the FS was so hard physically and technically for the top 5 couples, that they concentrated a lot on their technical elements and the artistry and story-telling took a backseat.

I can never get tired of watching Sui/Han here! So repeating these uploads of them is just fine, Olympic Channel! However, how come you have not yet uploaded Sui & Han's 2018 programs? While Sui/Han did make mistakes in the Free in Pyeongchang, they did win the Olympic silver medal, and were then still one of the tope 3 pairs. I've yet to see someone on the team upload an "All of Sui & Han's Olympic performances!" the way Kim Yuna's and Hanyu Yuzuru's were, as they are the first pair to win the Career Grand Super Slam! Don't wait too long to get those millions of views now.

I thought whenever they are not touching, they MUST mirror all moves exactly. I see many times in this performance that did NOT happen. I was moved by the little girl being thrown around in amazing moves, but how is that part of a DANCE ROUTINE ON ICE? I still was choked up and teary eyed at the end.
