okay, first things first, I'm not a killer, just an ADHD writer that gets bored at school and we discuss torture techniques effects in science. It takes something like 3 hours of interrogation to be convinced you've done something even if you didn't. Manipulation is very easy and can be so subtle no one notices. Two torture techniques that affect the human brain severely are the Chinese water torture (water dripped slowly but steadily onto the scalp, forehead or face for a prolonged period of time) and the white room torture (completely blank room (either black or bright white) absolutely no contact or outside stimulation). Using these techniques for a period of time, alongside the electrical torture, physical torture, withholding of basic necessities, cryofreeze, and brainwashing, would have made bucky lose his mind which would mean he would be extremely vulnerable to manipulation. It is highly likely the winter soldier is another personality formed to protect what is left of bucky and formed as a result of the torture and manipulation. The winter soldier personality is brought forward by the trigger words (and conditioning related to them) however it is also highly likely that it could be brought forward in times of extreme stress (whether mental or to the body). I don't know enough about this mental disorder to comment further. (I'm terribly sorry if that upsets you, I'm sitting here crying as I write it)
In addition, Bucky didn't join the army voluntarily (the digits in his number show that he was drafted) and the Wakanda files that contain everything Shuri found out about what they did to him said that Bucky resisted the brainwash longer than it should be possible, he was much stronger than probably everyone else

At the London one we went to there was a package which included VIP fast tracking queues, an autograph, a photoshoot and front row seats in the panel. (it was expensive and my other half treated me and I gave up my birthday and xmas presents for this year - I mean who wouldn't want Sebastian Stan as a birthday present, right) The queues were huge though, friends who didn't buy the pass waited ages, and we were glad we'd left our 6 year old with a babysitter - no way would he have waited!

Watching Civil War, I was completely broken because I'd just watched Age of Ultron and hadn't stopped sobbing since Pietro's death. Overall, Steve and Bucky's relationship really gets to me because they would actually die for each other and I do have a friend I feel that way about. (Even though she was Team Iron Man and I am hardcore Team Cap)
