The candid part where you spoke of miscarriages and fertility treatments, it's a breath of fresh air to see women not treat something that is common like it's the devil. We love you, more power to you girl!❤

This is THE best review of pregnancy-safe skincare. I’m an RN and appreciate your discussion of the differing percentages of actives that may or may not be concerning. I also appreciate you discussing ingredients that are controversial between different dermatologists. This was a very honest and thorough review. Other reviews I’ve watched from other dermatologists can be misleading. And to those who do not work in healthcare may not question their recommendations. Thank you for this review. I look forward to watching more of your content! I am definitely subscribing!

Thank you, I had requested this! I get what you’re saying about pregnancy being short in the overall scheme of your life, but I am pregnant with my third and have been continuously pregnant and/or breastfeeding since November 2016! After learning I was pregnant, I was happy but did think, and now I still can’t use Retinol for another 2 years. It will likely be 6 years of avoiding all these products, or most of my 30’s. Oh well!

thank you for marking this video, it has been so helpful! I am 6 weeks pregnant after a very long time of trying to conceive and I am terrified of doing anything wrong! my dermatologist made me a concoction of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and 15% azelaic acid to use during my pregnancy, which I am using all over my face every night. I have been struggling to find a sunscreen with no salicylates in, but my midwife said it should be fine to use one with salicylates in because very little of it will be absorbed

I think stretch marks are genetic, all of the women in my family have them to some degree. Even the ones who didn't have children. While I was pregnant 16yrs ago, I used a product called Mother's Friend! Got it at my drugstore and I gotta say that my stretch marks aren't as prominent as my sister's. I'm gonna look into Indeed to see if I can fade them more. And kudos to you for being transparent about your pregnancy struggles. I'm happy that you and your babies are healthy 💕

Never had children and I am 43 and my hair part has widened and my crown has thinned and I have long ass hair down to my waist and have to strategically use root spray with heavy alcohol and chemicals on my part. Root spray makes my crown dry and regular shampoo so t wash it all out. I have to use Neutrogena’s T-Sal or anti-residue twice per week with a shower hair massage brush.

I think there could be a little bit more to it than only genetics. My first baby I had absolutely no stretch marks but I got pregnant again 3 months after giving birth. With baby #2 I got huge stretch marks and saggy skin. I feel it may have been because I hadn't fully recovered after birth.

I'm here because I was doubting on if I should keep using Retinol. What happens if I just found out and I kind of used it almost every night during the first month and a half or so? 🙏🏻
Can you please talk about hair dying and other hair treatments during pregnancy?🙏🏻 Also, botox is a no during pregnancy, right? Thanks a lot!!! This video was amazing!

Thank you so much! It is so hard to find solid information on pregnancy skin care.

So true! I read 3 esthetics text books and none of them mentioned pregnancy and skincare. I was shocked. It mentioned menopause and the menstrual cycle tho

Loved this vid (even though I won't be having bebez for a while)! I'd love to hear more about different in-clinic treatment options and what they're used for (I heard you mention PRP laser once, micro stamping, chemical peels, etc)

im glad i found your video, im very early in my pregnancy and i've used chemical sunscreen and i didn't realise it was bad until now and now im stressing! Especially as im pregnant after years of ivf, so stressing i could potentially have affected my little embryo

I don’t think you should be so stressed! If chemical filters were so bad and harmful, it would be written on the packaging, like it’s written on wine bottles, energy drinks and medication, even vitamin D has this note „avoid if you’re pregnant“ (I live in Europe) , but not sunscreens. I also asked 4 doctors about what cosmetics I should avoid while pregnant/breastfeeding, and 2 of them said nothing at all, the other 2 said retinoids and things with prescription. P.S. Can we congratulate you?
