I'm moving to Bedford in August. I am coming from Los Angeles. I am both excited but also scared. I am coming all by myself and I don't even have a job lined up! Anyway, I'm grateful to learn about the communities around the DFW area. Coppell looks nice and I will probably make some trips out there to check it out. I plan to buy a home in the next 2 years.

I intended to move to Coppell for my son to get into a better school. I live in Los Angeles now, but the property taxes is incredible, which scares me a lot. Do you have any other advices to help me choosing a better area for kids' growing up? Frisco is better or Coppell is better?

Frisco has some of the lowest property taxes in all of DFW...so that is very helpful. I like Frisco more than Coppell but Coppell is pretty great!!! Text me and we can chat.

If you study the US News high school ranking, which is emphasizing on test score, you can see that Frisco high schools ranking are much better and better every year! All Frisco high schools's current US News ranking are either "excellent" or "very good"! ( Most of them are ranked excellent!).
Also, Frisco has the lowest tax rate and highest house price appreciation!
