A friend recently gifted me the ADA Cube Garden 45, and i'm a bit confused about the cover. I know you have to buy the them separate, but is there any gap in the covers for the filter inlet and outlet pipe?

awesome tutorial. i'm missing some information though. like how long are the lights on, do you start with shorter times and increase them every week, or 12 hours a day right from the start? and frequent massive waterchanges? as in 50% each day for the first 2 weeks after that once a week?
