Nothing wrong with copying other aquascapes in my opinion! We are using natural materials and you will never find the identical rock or wood. The end result will always look different. Really enjoyed this build guys! great job!

But copying would take out some enjoyment of the scape right ? Like knowing that its pretty much the same scape as someone else's ruins the thrill of trying to scape .

@@sunaymukherjee7576 nothing wrong with watching other scapes and get your creativity going, using methods of others or layouts, you give it care and love yourself. No plant will thrive if you dont care for it

Even for creative people like myself, sometimes it is just good to practice the technical skills and do copies. But yeah, you lose a part of the creativity with it, I agree. On the other hand, there are many who just don't have an idea, or are not so creative, but still want a nice layout. Copying is the way for them, nothing wrong with it - at least that's what I think.

I really love this one, even better than the previous iterations. It's especially well balanced with a great interpretation of the golden ratio rule. It sort of looks like a tree took roots in a wall or a mass of rocks, then rocks fell away everywhere except where the roots held them. The only doubt I have is with the Parva at the top, I'd say it will suffer so close to the light. Also, from a video point of view I really liked that you went into a lot of details about how you did this. Cheers!

We came in to Green Aqua today for the first time in a couple of years and my fiance and I talked about the tanks with the branches reaching out of the tank. That's what we'd like to consider for our next scape. We had a nice time looking around and getting inspiration. We also loved your selection of Betta fish, the best we've seen. When we are finally finished with our house renovations in a month or 2 we'll be back to buy lots of cool stuff for our next tank 🙂

I am interested in the light intensity you have set for this scape. Having in mind that the plants are mainly slow growers , may be the full capacity of the Chihiros wrgb device would be too much and would lead to algae bloom. I recently had a situation like this and I had to rescape and replant because of the algae infestation.

It looks great but something just doesn't feel right with all the goop, resins and glues hidden within the scape. We may never be able to duplicate nature but I think we could do better with our respect for materials. In a world of fast copying (inspiration) we should be even more careful. You now have 10,000 followers gooping away to keep up with the masters.

Well, I feel you Steven. But I have to sacrifice the "knowledge of being natural all the way into the structure" for stability. If you know what I mean. Being able to construct this outside the tank is more important than the natural feeling. Additionally, this could not have been done inside a tank, technically.

    HiHo
    Looks very good.
In German there is a saying:
The three steps of learning ->
    1. Copy
    2. Optimize
    3. Create yourself
(Doesn't sound so cool in English.)
So there is nothing wrong with copying, especially when you name the origin of your creation.
If you worked on the job for more than 10 hours, isn't such a job pool extremely expensive?
    regards

Yeah, good point. We used to have them in the descriptions, but the guys stopped for some reason. I told them to try to have them on from now on and put them in the descriptions for older videos too, where they are missing...
