I bought a Honda Rebel yesterday, and this is my first experience riding! I will be posting more videos as I learn. #rebel500 #hondarebel #shorts #noob
Don’t look at your handlebars when pulling away, look straight ahead! Head up eyes forward! You’ll be much smoother. Same when cornering turn your head in the direction you want to go and you’ll naturally adjust your body to turn that way! Eyes always looking where you want to go, not down!
I have a 500 also but the special edition version. Titanium paint and tan seat. They are a great bike. No faults. Longest trip in one day I did was 700km so it does the miles. Your ass will be sore tho haha safe on the road. Rubber side down
I wonder if the first one had multiple gear ratios and a clutch. If it was just a bicycle with an engine, it may not have been so complicated. Thanks for watching!
That's impressive for a very first attempt. Smooth on the throttle. Onwards and upwards. 👍🏽
Thanks!

Great advice!
Smooth throttle and clutch use man!
Thanks! I drive a stick shift, so I had an idea of what to do.
Love the blue
Me too! It is the perfect color for this bike.
What year model is this? US spec? Loving that blue

Heck yeah man! I’ve since ridden it about 400 miles on my longest day from Atlanta to Daytona Beach. My ass was only a bit sore 😂. Rubber side down.
Don't look down, look ahead. That's what my cbt instructor drilled into my head. Awesome 1st go on a bike ever🤘
Great advice! It’s going a lot better a year into riding 😎
Yessss you did it 🫡💪🙌🙌👏👏👏
Thanks! 6 months into riding now, and I love it!
How is the comfort on that bike? I’m 5,10 but still considering it.
I like it a lot, but I’m 5’7” It might feel a slight bit cramped, and lots of people get an aftermarket seat for more comfort.
I'm wondering how the first motorcycle was ridden

I guess you drive manual transmission for a car. I learnt my cycle through experience from manual Toyota CE96 corolla lol
@@ShinnZaw My first car was a manual Ford Escort station wagon 😂 I’ve owned 3 manual transmission cars total. Very astute observation!
I'm trying to figure out why mine it's running hot I don't even have 50 mi on it yet
@@lisacasiello2453 Have you checked all the fluids? Mine can heat up, but it’s never felt like it was overheating.
@@stephen2wheels I just bought it
I'm also going to call them tomorrow and find out after riding it for an hour it feels hot
A bit disappointing. Traditionally, every first ride on a bike requires the rider to drop the bike immediately. 😅
That happened on my second day riding it 😅
omg...crashed !
@@leeinwis Nope, I didn’t crash.
You’re turning way too hard at a low speed. You’re going to lay it down a time or two
Thanks.
