Hi guys! I managed to edit and upload this while I still had internet signal. Unfortunately, after this episode, I might not be able to upload anything for a very long time because as of latest info our next voyage will take us across the Pacific ocean all the way to China. That' around 45-50 days without internet access. So I might not be able to upload anything for the month of September, but for sure I will have plenty of time to make a lot of videos which will be uploaded as soon as I get internet access. For the mean time, I hope you enjoy. Thanks for all your support! ⚓👍😀
Chief, just want to let you know how important this content is. The life of a seafarer is rarely in the public eye. Documenting your experiences on TH-cam really helps people all over the world see what it’s really like. Thank you.
@Stanley Burgess I'm sure you are right about the wages on board for Pinoys. But it's a LOT better than they're paid in Phil. The world is FULL of exploiters...god damn their souls!
Chief..... I've traveled a lot from one country to another... But, the way you showed your travelling... How to join a Ship... No words. Hats off to you Chief ✨💖
Your narration about navigation is simply superb. Almost every video explains indepth knowledge about sailors n life. Thank you very much your dedicated work. All the best from India 🙏

Thank you for sharing your life with us on the internet. Your travels are quite interesting and of course I came to this channel for the technology. But I have found your Warmth , work ethic and qualifications inspiring , thank you chief for showing us so much including ships and the sea. And what a great teacher and instructor for future sea farers. 👍👌

Chief, Always a landlubber for civilian and military positions (not maritime related, but could transition to maritime security); but I (and your subscribers) get to enjoy the Merchant Marine experience with your videos. Thanks for candidly sharing your on duty and off contract experiences: it's great to see the world (much of it, for you, oceans), meet officers, cadets and crew, and, importantly, your family. Best wishes! Keith (United States)
Very interesting video's about sailors and such 👍 I live in Saskatchewan, Canada, where the closest to any ship or ocean is thousands of kilometers away . I really enjoy your videos . Thank-you 🙂😎
Watching your videos ay parang nakasakay na rin ako. I lost the chance of getting onboard because of CKD and I'm on HD for about 4 years now. But thanks to your videos I was able to see the maritime profession and "see the world free."

This guy is one hell of a guy i love large cargo ships or super tankers if id my time over again i would choose the merchant navy .. keep up the good work ..
Hi chief, as a sailor from war Navy, I enjoy watching life onboard merchant ships. Or better, I love everything related to sea... P.S. I am from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. lol
There are not many people in my military career that I would care to meet. Just the way it is. You however Cheif, you really gained my highest respect. Just be who you are. Everything else speaks. HA. So your not so bad from my end. HA. You totally earned that Chief. That is so refreshing. I never thought I say that again. Know who you are Cheif.
New to your Vlog, and was hoping to see a lot more about Brazil and your short shipping experience. Well, maybe another time. All of the cities you visited in this videos I have been to and through. Almost all the airports, except for Porto Alegre. I only know the bus terminal there. Was good to see what they all look like now. Never been to the Philippines but have friends there. Enjoying your Vlog... good job on that. My wife's dad was a mariner, Brazilian navy, Lt. Commander, and she grew up with him on ships and around ports, so I thought I'd check out your Vlog.Good luck!

I have been to the Doha Airport...where the main area has a caviar bar instead of the usual snack bar! LOL! I could never figure out the Giant teddy bear...although I read that they spent plenty on it!
Wonderful, I want to express my appreciation for your content. Being now retired, but an ex-mariner, I find these enjoyable, informative and somewhat sentimental. While I served on smaller vessels, I successfully transferred from engineering to the bridge before retiring. I am particularly interested in your relationship with the Master? What do the relative income figures look like? Do your vessels ever take paying pax? Great work. 👍👍
It's essential that C/E and Master work like partners. Most companies nowadays brief them to act as check and balances to each other. That way if one abuses authority, one can report directly to the office. Captain and C/E nowadays have mostly the same salary.
You went through one of the most haunted airports in the world! It was so bad that the employees required the construction of temples inside the airport to ward off or calm down the spirits.
