Special Week and Silence Suzuka is the healthiest rival relationship I've seen in anime, ever, period. It's not just the "better" one being a bully to the underdog, they're actually friends that inspire each other to do better! It's less "YOU'RE NOT EVEN FIT TO LICK MY BOOTS, LOSER, YOU'LL NEVER BE IN EVEN THE SAME LEAGUE AS ME" and more "I'll try my best to beat you so you'd better try your best too I don't want it to be easy!"
There was only one bully in the whole franchise in season 1, and she had to be entirely made up because no real life horse owner was willing to let their own horse be made a bully. Her name is Queen Berry. We know she is made up because every racehorse is recorded in a database and her name literally doesn't exist in it. She was designed after the physical appearance of Land Ace (who ran last), but played the role and had the number of Legacy Hunter (who ran 2nd).
This is one of the best shows I have ever seen. If you're thinking about watching this show DO IT. IT'S SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. It's incredibly hype, crushing, uplifting and fun all at the same time. You'll regret not watching this TRUST ME
