      He was a good philosopher, no doubt, but this was basically already self-evident at the time of his writing (admittedly so, as he literally says it in the last sentence here, "...before our eyes.") AH, however, did predict this before it happened, in Europe, i.e. "negrification of the Rhineland", which I believe were the exact words he used.

      Culture did, race didn't. The use of race to define civilization didn't occur until about the 19th century and even Evola acknowledged racialism is a byproduct of modernity in his other works.
      This idea that a person's race dictates the society or civilization is ahistorical/pseudohistorical and especially anti-traditional.

      That is just how Europeans are. Its pretty easy to "not be racist" when your minorities are... Some Germans, lol. There is some truth to the idea that race wouldn't be all that important if America were still 95% white, but when there is no super majority, it becomes pretty clear just why race is of such importance.
      Now that European is dealing with large populations of entirely foreign peoples, I think we're going to see a lot more understanding from the likes of Germans or Italians for why America is so divisive on race.

      @@techelitesareadisease8816 A lot of us do 'get it' as you say. But there is a difference.
      Europe is importing American culture, language and its concomitant references. The problem is that they bear no relation to European historical reality. We import your liberal guilt of race and your conservative rebuttal of said guilt, plus the bonus of coloured and white bigotry. To be fair, Europeans tend to champion black bigotry because of the music and Hollywood. Don't ask me why, I don't watch or listen to anything American, like the Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne, Def Leopard, the Scorpions, etc etc. They may be from Europe, but culturally, they are like an 'Irish' American. They're culturally American, but with slightly odd accents.
      There are many reasons for this absurdity gaining so much traction. To my mind it's obvious. The willing adoption of the cognitive dissonance over American WW2 propaganda. Which informs much of your self-image myth to this day. It's so brilliantly engineered and powerful that even though it doesn't pass even the most cursory of scrutiny's, it is still believed worldwide. As such, the rest of the American nonsense is unvetted and allowed in. American toxic food, memes, music, films etc.
      The reason American racism is so different is twofold. The slavery of America had a very different complexion for one thing. Which is to say it occurred on home turf. America not only had this, but proximity begets cross cultural exchange. Americans of any colour today are hybrid black/white by language, culture and common reference.
      It is similar to the European feudal system except in one important regard; colour.
      The Anglo-Saxons and the Normans were divided by recent language divergence and recent tradition divergence only. Both of which were close enough to be easily recognisable to each. That is to say the language and history were sufficiently similar to overcome any barriers in a very short time. They also looked the same. The Battle of Crecy perhaps illustrates this. The Normans spoke English to the common Anglo-Saxon soldiery. As an Englishman I must say, the humour of those front lines must have been fantastic. Each taking the mickey out of the other savagely. Must have been hysterically funny. Anyway, also, the cognitive abilities were similar. None of these things were available to slave and master in the Americas. Particularly the cognitive element.
      Well, you have won the culture war, if that isn't an oxymoron. So you are probably near the mark when you say you'll witness more understanding from us to you. Europe has adopted your half black/half white culture. Well done. You'd probably call it progress.
      I will continue to avoid it for as long as I have breath in my body.
      Edit; composition mistakes.

    This is the fundamental flaw in trad thinking;
    Traditionalists can only be virtuous in direct relation to their society’s ability to safeguard its material needs. Once those members of society go hungry, those so called “virtues” also vanish.
    In the hierarchy of civilizations, whoever can better foster an environment for technological development (which ultimately translates into military power) wins. This is regardless of race, culture, values, traditions - in real politics, arguments such as these put forward by Evola are nothing but abstract dreams steaming from resentment and fragility

    I see where he is coming from, but Americans were characteristically as described before any notable negric influence. Evola seems to lack a nuanced understanding of the American character like M. Grant or T.L Stoddard. Otherwise he would note that the highest European IQ dispersal as well as the highest quotent for European violence both migrated to North America and won the continent.
    The migration truly did have a positive eugenic effect in addition to a massive net positive globally with the ingenuity coming from that continent alone.

      @@dashingeduardosuarez In this exploration of Evola’s inner and outer life from World War II into the early 1950s, Gianfranco de Turris, who knew Evola when he was alive and is the executor of his estate, offers a new portrait of Julius Evola and debunks many of the pseudo-myths about his activities during the war. Drawing on personal conversations with those who knew him and new documentation never before made public, including letters from the Hakl and Scaligero archives, the author traces Evola’s activities--including his time on the run and living under assumed names--in Italy, Germany, and Austria from 1943 into the mid-1950s. He shares a thorough account of the Baron’s sojourn at Hitler’s headquarters in Rastenburg, his work for the German secret military services, and his passionate REJECTION of the RACIAL theories that were the core of Nazi ideology. The author outlines Evola’s critiques of Fascism and Nazism and also explores Evola’s disapproval of the Italian Social Republic because it was destroying traditional values in favor of modernity.
