Seeing Zapdos remided me of yesterday when i forgot to save the game before i fought Zapdos in Pokemon fire red and he flew away cuz my pokemon was under leveled and i only had 16 ultra balls and 5 great balls

Couldn’t you have caught higher level Pokémon in victory road, I feel like that might have helped some lol
Maybe using effective or super effective moves when you have them makes the game a bit easier
