Eleven Days By The Water In The Angeles National Forest

Eleven days in the canyon and down by the water in the Angeles National Forest. July 17, 2024 to July 28, 2024.
A busy week and a half at this beautiful spot. Lots of bears as usual and a surprise visit from two red-tailed hawks. One of them even takes a little bath. There’s also a deer, a family of raccoons and a daytime appearance of a male mountain lion.
This is just one of many water sources all throughout the canyon. Some dry up for a few of months and others stay full all throughout the year. Life is good for these wild residents, living their best life in a healthy habitat.
