Hello my beloved TH-cam family. In this video, I am making one of my all time favourite indian sweet, Puran Boli.👩🏽🍳 My mom used to make these yummylicious flatbread with sweet lentil filling (Channa Dal/ Gram Dal with Jaggery) for caterings and special occasions. It's such an irresistible classic recipe, nobody could possibly say no to it.😋
Puran Poli/Boli is a very popular Maharashtrian & Gujarati stuffed sweet flatbread. The softness of the puran boli is based on the dough. So make sure you knead the boli dough for atleast 5-15 minutes and let it rest for at least 1hour before making the flatbreads.👩🏽🍳
Kindly refer to the key ingredients of this cocolicious delight & it's measurements as listed below.
INGREDIENTS for Maharashtrian Puran Poli/Boli
■ All purpose flour - 3 cups
■ Turmeric - 1tsp
■ 1/4 tsp fine salt ×2
■ Channa/Gram Dal - 2cups
■ Powdered Cardamom (Elaichi) - 1-2tsp
■ Jaggery - 2cups
■ Water - 1/2cup to melt Jaggery
■ Water as needed
■ Oil and Ghee as needed
