But the classy attire of chess would be lost. The brilliant combinations, the complicated positions, .. This is the reason why T20 is becoming more popular than ODI but real OGs love ODI more.
He sacrificed his bishop for 2 pawns...but if he tries to take second pawn with the rook after exchanging that knight on e4, queen to f5 will attack both of adhiban's rooks...but grischuk defended successfully...
He is already down material at that point. Winning a pawn doesn't give him an advantage. He brings his queen out and keeps the pieces on board for checkmating chances.
It is a bluff but not with a high intuition. He was expecting his opponent to make a mistake, it is a blitz game after all but Grischuk was so on point.
@@smr6969 The material was not the same. Adhiban lost a lot of material. He only had a queen and a rook. Whereas Grischuk had a queen and three minor pieces. Generally a rook is considered equivalent to two minor pieces, so you can Grischuk had an extra minor piece, and since he was up material and Adhiban cannot find a way of progressing with only a rook and queen against so many pieces he resigned.
I initially did not understand Nbd7 and a6 moves from Grischuk .... but these were very deep positional moves and removed most of attacking possibility for white's pieces
Nbd7 seemed logical to me, black wants to play Nf6 but white has a knight on e4 and black doesn't want pawns doubled on f file, so Nbd7 first to support Nf6
you have many chances to take your bishop back due to the extreme pressure on the "e" file, and if not, you can still stop black from castling (that happened) and you take two pawns for your bishop, with an active position...
it's really funny how your criticizing a super gm making a sacrifice that he probably had prepared at home when you're 1400 . the position was playable until 18.nxa6, be3 was better, black still has an edge , but the position is still holdable for white
@UCFIMwN_mDSWYQlXYxux6saw in that video itslef clearly mentioned rating that adibhan 2.6 and other 2.7. Also single match can't decide that adhiban is not fit.. He is in the top list after few players in india
Adhiban, he called himself the Beast, but more like he is a kitty in chess. No consistent result. Managed to cross 2700 for like a month. Alireza is the Beast. Magnus Carlsen is a beast. Adhiban? No. A kitty is more like it.
Grischuk didnt choose Thug life thug life chose him

They went for the tarrasch open system my fav french deffence variation
Shashank Kapur that’s not a French variation, stfu
I thought when you said thuglife, you were referring to Adhiban.
no he always refers to adhiban as the beast
Adhiban is thuglife but not as much as sasha
It's like getting all in against stockfish 10.. Sacrifice sacrifice and then lose badly!!!
Adhiban is just amazing & hyper-aggressive but unfortunately, he's playing against a very strong super GM.
6:16 when he realized he f*** up 😬
thuglife what a title, hahhaha.. grishuk is so funny

For the first time Grischuk was not low on time.
B3. Because why not?!?!? Going to have to start trying this.
I still don't understand why he exchanged his Bishop for a Pawn
I guess grischuk just defended, was thinking the same thing.

Same bro it was a changing point i guess ( not a grandmaster but then also just a thinking)
Thats why grischuk is an elite
why not Nxe6 at 5:09 or 5:30? either seems to win a pawn.

Whats the plan in Be6??

Simply... Nothing
what happened? why did adhiban resign?
losing position I guess. I dont see it but adhiban sees much more on the board than I do of course
I Think Ccd6+ is better than Cxf6

can someone explain the bishop - pawn exchange? What was his goal?
